Changeable Catapult Ammo Load-out Modes Fire/Stone (Anti-infantry/Anti-horse)

This idea is adapted from the CoC unit X-Bow. The player is allowed to change between a long range ground attack and a medium range ground/air attack.

Swap-able Catapult Ammo Load-out Modes Fire\Stone

Fire: This mode would have a slightly shorter range than the current catapult attack but would fire a rain of fiery projectiles in the same AoE as the current catapult.
This attack would leave a stackable Damage Over Time effect to units hit and walking through (up to 4x) forcing attackers to maneuver their units away and providing a unique defense vs a infantry heavy army. The AoE DoT would last only a few seconds but multiple hits in the same area would stack making life rough for massed infantry who would be picking up multiple stacks. The damage would be split between direct damage at impact and the weaker AoE

It would display as fiery shards in a circle for the AoE DoT and the projectile would be an attractive rain of fiery stones being launched from the catapult.

Stone: This mode would give the catapult Heavy Horse as a favorite target. The catapult would have increased damage and a slightly increased range at the cost of almost all of its AOE damage with only splash damage to units directly around the square it hits. I wouldn't see this as a attempt to do Batista tower level damage with a catapult but something better than the pathetic love tap it gives Heavy Horse at the moment.

The projectile would be a larger stone than present but roughly the same look.




My justification for such changes lies in the fact that there is need to balance the "Heavy Heavy Hose Attack" style that has become FOTM.

The change would let people customize their defenses better because at present they could have one set to stone and the two others set to Fire.

First and Last bump I posted this when everyone was distracted by a unscheduled server maintenance. I think it is a good enough idea to deserve another chance. If not RIP little thread *sniff*
