I have been frustrated for the past two years as bases have become easier and easier to defeat. When was the last time your base actually defended (0 stars lost)? A player that is on par with me should have to struggle to even get one star if my base is well built. These changes get us closer to that goal.

I still say all this rebalance crap is doing is screwing over the little guys and making all the research obsolete.

I want to add for Versailles, when enemy troops approaching, beautiful ladies that dress like Benefactors will come out and cast a stun on enemies, so they will freeze, unable to move!

The last time my base was 5 starred? Sorry, my memory doesn't go back that far. :D
I remember someone 4 starred me and he was lvl 260+ and used a HT army with 7 decoys, card troops and alliance archers and planes naturally. He got 1million rss and over 14k oil. It was a hard win, he lost half his tanks plus some planes but he got a lot. And that's how it should be.
In a game like this, where players are equal with each other, the balance must favour the attacker say, 5:4. It must. Otherwise, what's the incentive to attack?
Cannibals , l can understand someone an age lower than you getting 1 star. Someone equal to you should be able to 3-5 star you but it should be a major loss of troops. Someone above you should be a challenging win for 5 stars.
That's how l see the ratios of attack vs defend. So l can't agree that someone on your level should only get 1 star against you. There's just no incentive to attack if that's the case.
If someone equal to you only gets 1 star then this person won't even bother with someone higher. And we SHOULD be encouraging players to try harder bases. The rewards would be better and they get better by attacking harder opponents.
You've been playing for years and getting better as you go along. That's how it should be. Maybe there are more newbie players as you've been getting better. Maybe players don't bother with defenses because they're concentrating on attack. Who knows?
Bases becoming easier to beat is not the issue. That's clearly a symptom of people neglecting their bases.
You should be measuring yourself against people who aggressively defend. I'm sure there's more than enough of us to test your mettle. :D

Clearly there is a reason so many max out their attack and neglect defense: it’s because defense doesn’t pay. I disagree that this is an attacking game. It’s only become that over time due to Nexons neglect of game balance. Way back in the days when Industrial was the top age, medal farming was about frequently breaking your treaty so another attacker could dash themselves to pieces against your defenses trying for your resources. Prior to this rebalance mathematically the best medal defense was to have no defense at all so every attack gained you the longest possible treaty. That’s backwards. I say more rebalance and keep it coming!

In the early days people protected rss, l sure did. The bases were challenging enough. These days, even with rss exposed, bases are tough, but beatable. The ''rebalances'' are unecessary.
Despite your welcoming of the changes there's nothing altruistic about them. It's a marketing strategy to increase the need for paid advancement, pure and simple.
If you can enjoy the changes, paying or not, good luck to you. :D

blitzkrieg reduced to 5 seconds.
Acropolis boosts defenders HP by 50% HP.
Angkor Wat works when destroyed.
Versailles 'bug' of 10% troops HP bug fixed and removed and slows 90%.

Statue of Liberty gives less buff to air forces, and to compensate that it gives double amount of oil. Forbidden city can be supplied with alliance troops together with the town center.

Me too, Although there are many people complaining, all these changes can solve the problem of variability in the game. To, for example, make tempting all wonders

I just wish the rebalance would finish so I could figure out if I'm going to stay, and if I do stay I want to be able to work out a new troop combo, which will be impossible until I know where everything stands stat wise.
