If the game needed change why wouldn't you do it in slight gradual movements rather than just completely change the playing field overnight? I think Nexon has no respect for it's players

This is insane. 300% boost on so many defensive structures! And nerf decoy to dead! Are the devs out of their mind? What is the use of the war academy then? Literally there is nothing worth to use now.
With the 3 defensive coalitions turn on and fully loaded stronghold, I don't think it is even possible to do a 5 star in theoretical level.
I already have had a hard time motivating my alliance member to try to challenge strong CWA base since all those attack nerf and defence buff rolling out this year. Now, no, I dont think I need to encourage them anymore. I guess I have to stop WW and just let the alliance to fall apart

With such a update it is easy to foresee the sandbagging problem will be getting worse. We don't need a crystal ball to know that.

I've spent over 5k usd in this game now me and couple friends and my alliance is deciding that no more money for nexon at all. They killed this game w this patch. Everyone is very VERY frustrated and upset w their announcement and today two of my colleagues officially deleted domination. Way to go nexon.

Wow. This is truly amazing. I... don't know what to say. You've effectively MASSIVELY nerfed every single offensive unit in the game. These defensive boosts are utterly absurd. I was thinking you might do a +10%-20% or something, but... nope. 300% almost across the board. Even daily, run-of-the-mill raiding is going to be nearly impossible now.

Your entire development team must be on hard drugs. I can't think of any other explanation for this. THIS IS ABSURD.

Our alliance is likely stopping wars until you fix this.

I think you guys may have finally figured out how to actually kill the game. Congratulations. I really don't see this as a viable game if this stands.

The problem is that this isn't a "rebalancing", it's completely eviscerating all offense. With a 300% increase in defensive HP to many structures, ALL offensive units are effectively nerfed. And nerfed massively.

If you asked me yesterday what I thought it would take to actually destroy the game, this is pretty close to what I would have said. Make it impossible to win a battle. This game is about to become unplayable.

I'm legit depressed now

I worked hard with my alliance to build a fun group, sure we never win much but we had fun talking to each other and playing the game together even if interaction was minimal, I climbed up to co-leader through effort, time and skill and I was satisfied. And now I see this update which is presumably the last of two combat updates, and all I can say is...why?

I loved this game, I found Clash of Clans and other similar games both too cartoony and lacking in visual variety. I loved how units changed appearance as the upgraded and the semi-historical aspect of the game. I felt good buying the starter packs and the manor and even a few other purchases as I played and now

I want my money back, money I can spend on things more worth my time, like food, or fun video games, or paying off some huge debt I owe.

Nexon, give me my money back so I can close this chapter of my life and move on, you killed my favorite mobile game and I know you're happy about it because you keep doing it and never listen to anyone.

I wonder if anyone will join this game after this and try to play only to get stuck after a certain point and be unable to progress purely because of the difficulty wall. But I'm sure soon that the apps stores will be review bombed to oblivion and no one will ever join this game anew again.

TinSoldier if you do reply, be honest with me, please just be honest about your intentions instead of lying like you usually do.

Jesus... I dunno what Nexon is doing except making there tip jar bigger. How do you take a perfectly good game an smash into the ground.I spent hard earned money on this game for you guys to lazily change the game i bought into. Thats just wrong my wallet just got glued shut. 3 years wasted. Its like i went an bought tetris came home opened the box and its was pong, your hoodwinking ppl its ridiculous.

I just spent the last hour or so scouring the Play store for something else. It's a shame that the devs are doing this to what has been a fantastic game. But I found several others I'm going to try out.

Maybe it'll save me money down the road. If I find something better I'll be sure to leave all of my resources exposed for you guys.

I think I will start looking for a new game too , otherwise I'll just start playing my old skool Age of Empires game. I want my 3 years back.

I have played dominations for a couple of years now, and can honestly say that I do love this game. It has the right balance of realism (not cartoony like some) and strategy for wars and resource collections. It would be hard to be perfect, and no game is cheater free.

i struggle to understand why you don’t seem to be listening to your players, your community. We are the ones that pay money for this game, and seemingly are ignored when concerns are expressed over proposed changes. I get that this is your baby, but it is ours too.

Decoys were very useful, but simply having strong ones wasn’t enough, you needed to know when to use and where to place to be effective. Now useless through this update. How do we take down Goliath bases with David with a nerfed sling? I have watched videos of successful attacks on higher aged and ranked bases through great use of tactics and troops and I aspire to being that good. Now that will be just troops, and I fear that this will not be enough now.

i play games to relax, de-stress and because of the enjoyment that it brings. Make it too hard to gain resources, make me lose my army frequently and take hours to train and I will lose interest and move on. Once you lose players, it is hard to bring them back. I like to win, but I shouldn’t have to pay £££s in order to get 5*.

i read this thread, and the players that bother to communicate with you are saying that the changes need to focus on TIME, not HP nor damage. I don’t see any acknowledgements to this so is this being ignored?

I suspect that NATO are training Elephant Archers given their amazing combat ability. Our alliance was destroyed in war against another which had these, let’s face it, ancient troops in their strongholds. Why are these not being adjusted as priority, given the sheer numbers of mentions in this forum?

i don’t particularly like polls, but surely this would be a good way of judging what your community, your customers, your players and let’s not forget it, your income, want as a priority?

Please, please listen to what people are saying and don’t ruin a game that we love.

You have officially killed the game. You wanted to reduce 5 star victories, but in actuality you have made it difficult to achieve a 1 star victory in the high medal ranges. Funny how you pretend to care about player feedback. If you actually did, you would scrap the stage 2 rebalance changes and instead implement changes that the community who love the game have been asking for here on the forums for the past three or so years.

Actually i think the developers will stop supporting the game early next year. It will limp on until then. I suspected as much with the increase in videos and crowns recently . Dominations is coming to an end.

We have just started our Wednesday War, I must say we and our opponent are all looking forward to getting 3 Stars instead of 4 and 4 Stars instead of 5 for someone to save the day by buying some 3x Elephant Archer packages.... haha like chuff! We'd rather lose than conform to the evil plans of Nexon BHG..


Only problem is, without the united war effort, why would we wamt to play the game? I for one, only play as it is because of my friends and comrades in the alliance.... not for Nexon or enjoyment!

The game is coming to its natural conclusion my friend. My best guess being sometime early next year the devs will stop supporting the game. Time to look around and seek out a new one.

Any similar games to dominations worth looking at? I've only ever downloaded this one.
