Deactivating Generals - Refund the Oil

It would be really nice if I could deactivate the Generals I have spent some oil on activating for war and get a refund if they are still intact. It's not a huge oil cost for me (1,100 barrels per war) but for those with 3 generals you're looking at 3,000 barrels of oil just to take 3 generals. If the Year are needed and damaged, fine. But if they aren't used or take no damage then you should be able to get the oil activation cost back, especially when you consider the cost of Generals relative to war loot.

I agree this should be the case. I've accidentally hit the wrong general before when getting ready for war attacks and had to waste the oil to deactivate and get the correct one. Doesn't make much sense why this is the case.
