Thank you for posting another State of the Nations update. I know I’m a little late to the party, but I’ve just now had the opportunity to read it and write a response. Here are my thoughts.

First of all, being under the 220 threshold for CW I cannot really comment on the new stuff offered in the CW release other than I think the bouncy house trap is cool. Thanks for letting AA players add that to our bases. At least we got something from that update. Global got the worst part of that update now having 2 ages above hunting them.

I’m ok with the new leader being released in CW. I have enough classes to take as it is. I am kinda meh on the new building. I guess I will reserve opinion when I see it in action. Will it be a minor annoyance like the sniper tower? Or a major game changer like the missile silo. I guess we’ll find out.

I know some have a negative response to your proposed Boost Details report, but I find this very intriguing. If I am interpreting your explanation correctly, we will be able to discern exactly how the research/upgrades and added buffs from Coals/blessings affect our attack/defense. Then compare our strength to the relative strength of our opponent. Others view this as letting our opponent see what’s under our hood but the way I read it seems it’s more of an evaluation of our own game and clue us in whether we are lacking in upgrade, buffs or just suck at attacking. (i.e. you should have totally owned that base Loser! Or ... try something harder next time Bozo!) It doesn’t tell our opponent exactly what we have as much as where we are relative to them. Am I right? I hope so because if we are telling our opponent our actual strength from Uni/library I totally agree with what was said before it would take all of the mystery of the attack which is part of the fun of war.

More deforestation for a bigger map? I always assumed it was coming so I’m not put off by it. One suggestion though. Don’t make the upgrade time longer. It doesn’t make any sense why workers in the CW age would take longer to cut down an acre of forest than guys in the medieval times. Give them some chainsaws and a backhoe for Pete’s sake!

And finally, the museum sounds like fun. I’m looking forward to seeing what you have lined up for us!

Thanks again for the update. As always...Hugs and kisses, Gail

I am fine with the changes. I like the idea of improving defense and moving the game so that perfect scores are not required in war. Of course ntg’s and diamond awards will need to be adjusted.

Having just finished the recent event with faster training times for troops and tactics, I now feel this needs to be permanent. The game was much more enjoyable with the shorter times. I believe this reduced the frustration over other balance issues and frustration with the overall game. It was much more enjoyable to play, and attack more frequently.

Now that we are back to regular time, everything seems slow and painful.

About the updates, I'm already prepared. Every ages had new buildings, and I agree with defensive updates.

Almost everybody destroy an enemy in WW with low times, 1'05" to 1'40", so we need defensive ups.

I agree with more space to the map, and keep dreaming about open sea, to fishing, it could be a good way to gather some food, and perhaps gold with docks.

My only wish is: reduce time to farms, caravans and oil wells upgrades.

Wars completed in short time is actually due to bad design.
If you got enough DPS then you able to destroy defense in first wave and you got 5 stars with in 100s
If you dont have enough DPS. then defender accumulated, and you fail.

There is no much tactic now, in most case, just do line attack and pray for enough DPS

Do most people still do line attacks in WW? From what I've seen and what I've heard, I expected that most attackers except british drop troops and cards around the base, to mitigate the silo, and that at some point you have to rally your troops to regroup.
Is that not the case in your experience?

For High End War, it is still line attack
When you deployed 3 TD and general, you dont need to care about Silo.
Line attack could be different style, but the common part is no rally or only rally to destroy a single building.

Man, defensive updates is only a tatic to increase NEXON revenue.

More defense power, more Elephant needed!

Imagine the Cold War stronghold with 5 cards... look forward!

I would imagine they would head back to the solace of the forest. However, it is possible that they would stick to their current trails. I'll have to check with the development team.

For those crying about the forest expansions... While we have no *current need* for this, there will undoubtedly be more buildings coming in future updates, and some of them may be large ones. So there is that rationale.

But more importantly, a larger map with more space will allow for more creativity in base design. We are often packed tightly into constricted spaces which limits what we can do; with more space we should be able to devise more intricate bases, particularly maze bases.

Those complaining about what an expanded map does to playing on a smaller screen... Get a tablet? Seriously, this game was meant to be played on a tablet - it's *so* much better in every way.

And of course, if you don't want to clear it, then don't clear it. But it'll be nice to have the option.

No matter the screen size, map expansion is another pay to win feature. Because you would not be able to clear this extra forests in a reasonable time without paying for it or sacrificing other defensive upgrades for a very long time. Also, huge stretched bases make an extra demand for troop tactics in order to keep battle times competitive.

Festivus The game may be better on a tablet. But if the answer to "my f2p mobile game is unwieldy because of the map size" is buy a tablet, just bury the game already. You have to assume most people are playing the game on the device they have, not buying a device specifically for this game. I will move on when the game becomes too unwieldy on my phone (it already was for a while, the latest pathfinding fixes have helped some).

As it stands, it is easy to fit every building available into the space we have, with more than an entire row of forest uncleared. You might have to clear some old statues or gold piles, but there is currently more space available then there are buildings to fill it.

More buildings in the future updates? Are you serious? The last main update which brings entire new age added zero new buildings and developers already stated they do not wat add any more of the already present buildings (i.e. no more depots, towers, atc.). However they promised a few brand new buildings, but I doubt there will be so mamy of them. All in all, current map is large enough for Cold War age as well as upcoming Space age and very probable for the entire time utill game servers go offline.

TinSoldier, I have a big question;

How always a leader adding to the game but still we have same citizens, while every leader requires a few citizens? how it could be logical in your brains?

The same could be ask about buildings. If you don’t have enough people buy more. They do have to make money to keep the game going.

I have no problems playing on my iPhone 6. I played on a tablet and like the iPhone better. Scrolls out more on the iPhone.

I believe the idea is that it makes deploying your citizens a meaningful choice. Some leaders that were added had a variable number of phases of research - each addition brings its own flavor!

So where is the museum!?
Yes, I would like an answer to this too. In Feb they promised ''design spotlight on this feature in the coming weeks''
Also, the ''Tentatively titled Boost Details'' battle review screen, is this going to be for wars only? (just like the stronghold releasing troops, which was originally said to be for all battles)
