Yes, I am extremely happy. Why? Because the game was stale. Utterly stale. Pick war line up, have top x bases go D, rest go O, timer war, look to kill a base in 1min15. Maxed defensive base in Global? Good luck finding a serious war alliance that will have you as you were a liability. Yes, war is going to be hard to perfect. For BOTH sides. Think about what hitting a maxed global with 3D6 on could mean - that could be a serious test for an atomic with 3O on. Mixing coalitions could be a sensible strategy again. Actually thinking a little bit about war strategy will be rewarded now. That’s great. Because it’s a new and exciting game. Timer wars are dead.

I go 3D in 95% plus of wars. Now? I’m not sure. I might only want 1D coalition. I might want none. My base might be tough enough without any D coalitions so I can get some extra offensive power. I’m not going to be able to take out a 240 with no troop cards and no offensive coalitions on myself. I happen to know a few whales, and quite a few of them are very bored with the game. This could be great. Those players that have looked to upgrade everything are in a better place too. The people it hurts the most are those hyper-light rushed accounts. They will still be easy to kill in war, but won’t be a near guaranteed 10* against much higher bases.

Tell me what is so so bad about a new and exciting way to war? When is the last time you got a decent war match, vs a walkover either way? If BHG will just do something to get cheaters out of the game now that would be awesome. The hacks, but also all the people who hacked resources. I really hope you can find them and ban them back to the dawn age. This base stat change will probably also impact matchmaking - also great, as that has been broken for ages.

The only thing I don’t like is that this is so dramatic. That is because the game has been poorly managed over the past 2 years. If BHG had done a better job in those 2 years then we wouldn’t be in for this massive overhaul now. But bring it on, can’t wait to lose my army in so many friendly challenges tomorrow.

I think you are underestimating how badly this will hurt multiplayer and new players coming up the levels who still have to gather resources. But I can see how it wouldn't be as bad for someone near the top of the game.

But EAs in SHs are going to win more wars even more easily than they did before, now that decoys will be a completely ineffective counter to them.

I have a L160 account too, just went Atomic. I am thinking about that one too. And if someone really wants to load full EAs in the stronghold then let them. I don’t care about the glory aspect. That hack has been closed, fine. I think loading EAs in my base would be overkill with these changes to be honest.

I can finish a bunch of bases in MP with 2 mins left on the clock, and over a minute left on my Atomic alt (I avoid silo bases on that one). I can always press next. I think people are determined to be fearful of change even though the overall game experience over the past year has been pretty damned awful. It needs something dramatic to change it. This is it.

Quali, would you say that these changes would've been better if they were limited to wars?
Maybe new perks should've been added to EARN these rebalances?

Are you guys going to the ring fight? I'd buy a ticket and forget my war 😆

Fair question Manifesto, but no. If you don’t hit them in MP then war will be utterly alien as an experience. You can control and work your way up to them in MP - adjust your medals, press next. There needs to be some relearning, for sure. Personally I like to try to use something close to a war army in MP so I can have a better feel for my army in war.

I get that the change is really dramatic. I am feeling anxious about hitting a maxed atomic, never mind a CWA. But overall I think we need the change. We needed many smaller ones over time. It’s a shame they all had to be rolled into one.

Thanks @No Angel
Quali, I get your point but wars have been around for a while, people already have plenty of experience.
Also, if these rebalances were added as later perks instead of day 1 perks, then people would be working their way to these later perks, getting experience along the way.
MP would be fun and NTGs/resources would be achievable: benefit for single players. Wars and rewards/rebalances would be fun and a good incentive for teams: benefits for alliances. Spenders would still be spending because they’re still winning in both scenarios.
Summary: benefits to everyone.

Trying hard to be reasonable to hold my vote until I see the actual number of the changes.
After seeing those crazy numbers, it is a no brainer to vote against it.

I agree ... the game has become ridiculously easy to the point where playing is just going through the same old motions. The rebalance will be a struggle to master - hooray!

Did somebody say something about smarter use of coalitions? Well, they are becoming premium feature now. Most of my mp attacks are 4-star (2600+ league), some are 5, but I think I can forget about that now. And no, I don’t want to switch to face-roll-low-medal-ntg-grinding, I don’t want to work in the game, I want to play.

I left 1800 and decided to try 400, plenty of fun down there.
I think Nexon wants us to pick on the little guys.

Nope, it isn’t touche, because he’s going to pass your feedback on and laugh about it with the other greedy snakes at Nexon. This has been going on for years, and it’ll keep happening until Nexon loses enough revenue, which isn’t going to occur.

Think about it. Of all the changes and updates to Domi, the thing that has stayed most consistent is Nexon’s unblemished record of not giving a flying **** about the playerbase and their thoughts. You can see this with virtually every change they’ve made apart from small updates. Just off of thinking for 3 seconds, I can think of estates, defensive boosts, strongholds (EA), the missile silo...are they really “sharing with the team?”

Nexon’s intent, obviously, is to get us to spend money. What people are doing is just dropping medals to raid abandoned bases — which I suspect there will be more of now that Nexon has stacked yet another straw upon the camel’s back. I would call their changes “moronic,” but I’m convinced that they are actually smart and realise that the same group of morons will keep spending hundreds on the game like they have for years.

Tougher bases make for a harder 5 star, but for pure raiding little has changed. Walls haven't been made tougher, and neither have mills or markets. Redoubt damage is up but catapult damage is down. Towers do a bit more but since when have towers stopped raids? I think only the 5-stars-or-nothing attackers will be dropping medals.

I laughed out loud when I read the title of this topic. Translates to “Please share your opinion, but dont be opinionated!”

This is all about bias. Cant be unbiased. Even the wording of the two poll choices is biased.

I think the intent was "give your opinion, don't just give an opinion that everyone is agreeing with"
