Our v9.7 Update ‘Checks and Balances’ includes several new Information Age building levels, a balance update to Generals, and more! Read below to see what’s new.


Information Age Upgrades 2.0

New Building Levels

• The following Buildings are receiving an additional level for players to upgrade to
  • Dock
  • Wall
  • Gate
  • Claymore
  • Air Defense
• 5 new Expeditions will be added to the new Dock level

Generals Rebalance
Earlier this week we released details about our General Eisenhower and General Zhukov changes, you can read more on why we are making these changes HERE.

• General Eisenhower Army (New Unit)
  • Reduced range in Helicopter form
  • Reduced health in Helicopter form by 10%
  • Reduced damage in Helicopter form by 12%
  • Reduced health in Ground form by 10%
  • Reduced splash damage radius in Ground and Helicopter form
• General Zhukov
  • Reduced range

Treasure Dock Interface Change
In an effort to make the interface more user-friendly, the guitar-pick shaped notification that appears over the treasure dock will now disappear as soon as the Treasure Dock is visited and will no longer require clicking on every tab in the Treasure Dock to remove.


Bug Fixes and Improvements
We’re continuing to focus on making impactful improvements and addressing players' needs. Some changes in this update include:

• Disabled resource refund while the Instant Retrain blessing is active to correct an exploit that allowed players to max oil
• Oil Seeps should no longer spawn under buildings
• Fixed an issue where Pompous would not show up during the tutorial for some players
• Fixed an issue with Decoy Trap displaying 0 sec duration
• Fixed an issue with Library Research displaying negative duration
• And more fixes!

* Please note: This update is starting to roll out to Android and Apple stores today. It may not yet be available to all players.

Right after the update I upgraded my air defense to maxed information level and all my mortars turned into air defense so 9 total and as per previous 4 updates 2 section of forest came back again same place a before and can't be interacted with I need some help here BHG_Muet

If an Estate is already placed in a base, will there be any penalty if an additional Estate is obtained through an additional Luxurious Living?

I am not pleased that this update came without any notice several days before it got released.
With upgrades taking SO MUCH time, we need to plan ahead. Yet, here we are, all of a sudden with new walls and Air defence level and without any workers!!
So, I had to cancel the work I was doing with all 20 workers and reallocate them within one afternoon!

Still working on this one, there were actually multiple bugs contributing to this but I'll follow up in the original thread when we know more about a fix.

You introduce new unit for Eisenhower but not introduce new insta-retrain blessing??
This is not fair!

When someone bought various offers for insta-retrain blessing knowing that it gives back donation refund they still should be able to use those blessings.
So here you should do the same as with eisenhower - keep the old blessing if u have it and introduce new updated version of this blessing as new blessing.

You don't punish players who bought Eisenhowers units in past but you punish players who bought insta-retrain blessing
Both are paid things so this is very very bad

BTW Max oil is good for game bcs those players will have plenty of oil for others to raid from them so this keeps all players happy with their raids.

Info+Tubman lag bug is still not fixed for anyone...

Also a reminder, as a leader for years, I tell you the game won't grow until upgrade times/costs are substantially reduced for below-AA. New players will always lose interest or find a different game. Make it weeks.

Fix major bugs like donations/crashes/cheating. Fix and simplify Matchmaking. Make Museum crafting less torturing, and add locking/grouping.. Balance weak barracks troops (they look fun but are weak as heck. Why?).

Why did you need to cancel any existing upgrades - the new levels would still be there waiting for you when you were finished!

BTW when will you fix parliament's cannon range?
Parliamentary defenses law level 10 should increase the range of parliaments cannon by 3 and it does not work
Our alliance members worked hard to get this law to level 10 and it's not working, shame

Until they wont fix the matchmaking you can make all the updates you want this game i'snt going anywhere...wars are by far the main attraction, without fair/fun wars theres no fun, no fun = players wont play....simple

Leviathan There are randomly connection issues after updating the game. Sometimes within the fight. Sometimes when doing nothing at my city. Maybe a server error from your side

Very possible. Just because you didn’t do it does not mean they cheated. I double jumped from space age to info and In 20 days pushed all walls up 2x, gates up 4x and bastions up 1x each. If it was someone sitting on lots of rss, already had them at L21, bought the event pass and get 50% off they could do it.

I maxed my walls in 2 days exactly by using 2 of my instant retrain blessings. Yes it is possible to do it perfectly legit!!
I was dropping medals and constantly doing full battles only against info age players. The domination bonus really helped a lot.
Each wall needed 5.250.000 food or gold and i looted about a BILLION food/gold without even counting the artifacts I maxed and the oil I looted.
