DomiNations - Wonders Guide - Choose the right Wonder

Yeah, currently enjoying Acropolis plus max level of garrison for my Town Center Age. It really helps my defense but still my defense can't stand with GP troops or Romans massive troops LOL!


Now, I can't decide what to choose form Colosseum and Notre Dame . but right now my chance of choosing notre dame is high although collosium is nice for defense but if you can't upgrade your wonder troops I think this is useless when playing with highest ages.

The high level descriptions are on the Wiki under buildings. Shows the Classical age wonders. I have Colosseum now, which is good for base defense. But if I had to pick again I'd go Notre Dame because of the gold bonus, and reduction in library tech and unit upgrades.

As far as I know the collosseum troops are always pikeman or equivalent. The Terra cota army which I have the troops mimic your current archers and your soldiers levels.

Gives 5 000 gold each day (in classical age, as far as i know it's + 5 000 every age)

How strong is the Terra Cotta Army/how many units are in it? How strong is the buff from the Colosseum? When attacking players with Colosseums it does seem like on defence it only produces ~2 soldiers at a time, doesn't seem to help in the defence much.

On this note, is it possible to change Wonders? I just started and reached the Bronze Age. If I choose one, can I destroy it and choose another? Thank you.

Choose Acropolis for the Bronze Age, clear winner. Resources come easy, to compensate a lack of resource wonder you just need to raid maybe once more a day, on the other hand there are no other defence bonus to compensate for using something that is not acropolis.

I think you've overlooked your total time calculation for completing a Wonder. There are indeed 5 stages taking 20 minutes each, but that's 100 minutes (1 hour 40 minutes).

Gives you the power to summon 10 soldiers and 10 archers of your current level once a day.

question, regarding notre dame. what does it mean "reduces....CANNOT BE ATTACKED." plus which is better colosseum or notre dame?

For me the notre dame is damn good.because on moving from one age to another each upgrades gets costlier.so even if 10% is not more.it's significantly reduces the cost.on other hand collosseum produces defending soilders and gives gladiator power which means nothing for one attack.collosseum can help maxed out bases but technically not useful until you defend it from quickly destroyed. Other two wonders are not as much useful in my opinion.
