Just sharing the below with the community, first to see if anybody has similar experience, secondly in case of interest to others. When upgrading to atomic age, I was disappointed to see I did not have access to any additional house or workers. I had access to numerous other extras when entering atomic (redoubt, walls, road, stable, ambush, caltrops, etc) but not extra workers. When speaking to my alliance members I found out they had access to a house and extra workers when entering atomic age, for 6mm gold.

When speaking to customer services, I was advised that I do not have access to the extea workers in atomic, since I had previously purchased some sort of starter pack (house with workers) some while ago and so I had maxed out the workers in atomic. I was super disappointed at this for a number of reasons, hence sharing it with others in case useful for the future.

I may be wrong but I do not recall during any of these promos, any specific t&cs that specified that a purchase will give some benefits only for a certain period of time and that in fact you would be foregoing some other benefits at a later stage (ie the entire community has access to the extra house and workers in atomic but not the parties that purchased this starter pack). I certainly expected and looked forward to having access to the extra workers when entering the atomic age, just like everyone else, so was very surprised at this outcome/ response and discrimination between the players in this manner.

Yeah. I agree. Had I known that the starter pack(s) were going to be canceled out by later ages I wouldn't have wasted the money...

It's not a waste... the starter pack also gives a nice heap of crowns, and having those workers through the earlier ages is a great benefit. On top of that, you don't have to spend a ton of gold to get the house.

That said, I do think it should be more clear that the SP houses are only houses from later ages. They should provide this information in the starter pack window. They probably won't though.

A valid complaint that Nexon still hasn't addressed. They still use the word "extra" instead of "early", which caused a lot of angry players when they found out it was canceled out later. Nowhere does it explain this fact.

Agreed- this is actually a well known issue to the veterans of the forum and caused a great deal of controversy in the past. It's unfortunate new players or those new to the forum are still getting trapped in this confusion. Typically spelling errors (like fixing 'extra' to the correct 'early') are a top priority in updates; why it still exists is baffling (but perhaps has something to do with securing player purchases).

All starter pack houses are early access; the estate is actually the extra house only available via purchase.

This happened in industrial age too if memory serves. The "extra" wording is really poor marketing trick everybody fall in (me Included). It's really A shame this has not been adressed yet. This is the kind of weird details that really makes me sick. This actually stopped me purchasing the estate, given their is decent chance i will get It for free in A futur age.
