Put aside your negative feelings about the glitches and chat and voice your thoughts on the museum

I like it. It looks like a huge grind but at least there is always something to do even when you are capped on resources and all your workers are busy. Bonuses look nice too. Already got 2 artifacts on display that when completed give:
+50% oil looted on attack
+50% gold looted on attack
+15% food looted on attack
30% refund of resources when attacked
+10% chance of getting NTG

And they are probably not even the best in this category.

I like the museum but don't like the changes to the dock.

Dock was already pretty weak, but at least it was possible to use it for 6h-12h overnight expeditions. Now even they make no sense with these new "rewards" (with extremely limited use), as no trade goods/ blessings is given through the expeditions...

I think, we need to see what sort of artifacts we can gain. Oil loot gains are certainly welcome when you grind through Amelia's immense hunger for oil

I landed a 6% tank hit point improvement out of the gate. Since I play Greeks, I'm pretty happy about that one. Still looking for a good artifact for loot gain.

Edit: I've completed two expeditions that were supposed to deliver museum resources, and neither of them have showed up in my museum.

It has the potential to give offense a bump in comparison to defense if I'm looking at it correctly. That said, the fact that I'm not sure I understand it means it's an overly complex system for a game like Dominations.

Interesting addition. We’ve had to put up with every update causing more and more bugs, stupid math offers and Marco becoming a useless money grab but THANK YOU to Nexon for a new feature that doesn’t require workers. I was praying it wasn’t going to be another university and thankfully it isn’t. This game desperately needed something instant to do while waiting for buildings/research to finish.

Yes but some bonuses work against the person attacking you so I wonder how long before we get complaints about ‘’my attacking has been nerfed and defense is now overpowered’’

Doesn’t require workers yes, gambling with crowns to acquire the resources required to upgrade. Not to mention the destruction of another enhancement - Expeditions. So THANK YOU NEXON.

I like that you can improve certain parameters of the troops (dps, pv ...), not that they have removed the possibility of obtaining other types of resources, such as national products, in the expeditions. They still appear but less frequently.

Anyway, it is still soon for a more complete opinion, we still do not know all the options of the museum.

I like the museum, it is interesting. Ive had fun trying to gather relics that are good, I especially like the bonuses Im getting for oil looting.

I do NOT like how they are going to monetize it. I've gone through 100s of relics already the normal way, and gotten maybe 1 or 2 with multiple 11% (both to stats I dont care about). The odds of getting many 11% boosts to meaningful stats in this process are so small, you may as well call it impossible. Then, within a few days, they start selling full 11% relics with boosts to great things for $100+ that are not really accessible to anyone other than whales. I can easily see them making the leap to letting these count in war, further advancing the p2w problem this game already has compared to its peers.

You know what would've really made this museum interesting? If these items provided time reductions on training, building and research. Another novel idea would've been increases to attack/movement speed along with corresponding decreases to invaders. Instead we basically get the same tired variations of hp/dps/production. They're ok, but like many things in this game that they hype up they could've been so much more with the slightest bit of outside the box thinking.

The day one blueprints nerf was ridiculous. I get that these are potentially powerful upgrades and Rome wasn't built in a day, but dropping them from the initial 40 blueprints per artifact sold to 15 is a bit extreme. Considering that each level up appears to increase the requirements by 200 each time we're talking 11,000 blueprints to get one boost to level ten.

Then there's another bottleneck with supplies, at least it appears that way. I've never used my dock but I can gather the people who have heavily invested in it are not happy with the changes to it.

Now if we could sell or even gift artifacts within our alliances that may be interesting. I have no use for increased bomber or wall miner damage but an alliance mate may, I'd be fine with giving it to them since I'd only be out a whopping 25 fragments and 15 blueprints. In fact, there should be more to alliances than wars, chats (when they work), and donating troops anyway but that's a topic for another post.

Thus far the best thing I see about this is an improvement to the overall game economy though this will take awhile to become noticeable. The top guys will now be even more unbeatable but I doubt they get raided much anyway. Not too thrilled with the idea of the tired raider and wall miner spam getting more of a boost, yeah, you can build counters to it, but that will take forever.

Please do not apply this to wars, ever. No matter how much the whales wail.

Overall, one can put as much or as little onto this as they'd like, so that's good. It isn't quite the mandatory arms race the university turned out to be. And I'm sure, much like many an anime villain, ''This is not even my final form!''

I was actually excited at first, because the museum seemed to have some grind-it-out possibilities, but the more I see how Nexon is going to play this, the more obvious it is that the non-whales are going to get frustrated by the imbalances the museum will cause and start to leave the game for good.

Same thing here. Was excited to see it at first and when I unlocked it I was ready to dive in. However, after unlocking artifacts and seeing what other people unlocked, it turns out it is heavily weighted by RNG because you want to try to get a perk with 11% starting out since it’s the best roll. The thing is, you might get an 11% but it will be for something you don’t like or even use.

Let’s say you did get an 11% perk you like. Great, but most likely there will be atleast one out of the 4 other perks that is going to be near useless for you. So what ends up happening? BHG knows it’s a grind, they know you’ll never win the endless battle with RNG. They purposely made it so frustrating by including so many different factors that you’ll want to eventually cave in. BHG will take all your worries away and sell you an artifact with all 11% and all the best stats for X amount of dollars. They also purposely made artifacts hidden when attacking an enemy so you can’t tell if you lost the battle because you misplayed or you lost because they had a P2W artifact.

What would’ve been nice is the option to re-roll specific perks in the artifact rather than having to endlessly buy countless artifacts. Just my criticism behind all this. People will not comprehend the true meaning of all this until later when p2w players have a fully decked out museum and when they introduce this museum in WW.

Museum might make life easier for ww participatans if they willing to collect +NTG bonuses (or at least have some kind of +NTG artifacts set for emergency) because it is reduces GRIND required to participate at WW at full power.

Right now museum do not force you to do anything, it is a sweet FREE bonuses for the very same gameplay we have already. Right now it is PURE GAIN.

Dock rewards revamp is a minor issue, massive boost to the game economy outweights it by far margin.

Defensive/Offensive Artifact meta is not existant right now. I expect that the most popular defense artifacts traits would be against fighters (less attack power/ less health). It might shift game meta for other planes which might not be bad at all.
