Greek and Japanese really need a buff

As a Brits I see them very useless. They should have some buff like.
Greek: build cheap and fast, 6% time faster, 20% cost lower.
Japan: More usefull on defense, defense troops have 25% faster move, 20% more hit point, +3 alliance gate.
I think that would help. Thank you

I still think the Japanese should get a ~10% boost to walls.

It was discussed a while back but we mentioned it would be better for the Greek instant finish to be 10% of the build time rather than 5 mins extra per age.

I posted the below quick thoughts in another thread, but applies here.

I dont think british need a nerf. They just need to make other nations compete with british.

For instance, Japan is supposed to be a defensive nation.

The TC shooting invaders is a joke once you get higher up in ages.

Instead how about:

Stables/Garrison/Bunkers spawn 30% faster and spawn 1 additional troop than normal. + Disabling effects are 25% less effective against spawning buildings. Traps 1% more effective per age.

Chinese:
+3 citizens and +2 merc capacity instead of just 1. Mercs do 20% more damage and have 20% more hp and 2 Free random mercs per day.

Germans:
While under rally effect, troops take 50% less damage. Troop Damage +2.5% per age.

French:
-50% training time for troops and tactics. -15% troop cost. +1 troop Alliance gate space per age. -5% troop/tactic upgrade cost in Armory.

Greeks:
2% discount upgrade cost per age and 2% build time reduction per age. Increase the instant finish time to initial 30 min + 30min per age.

Koreans:
Resource buildings +50% health, war tactics +4 capacity(with the recent changes this makes more sense) 20% food/gold refunded and 35% oil refunded after being attacked. War tactics train 20% faster, tactics blessing 50% better.

Romans:
Army size +3% per age, mercs +2 slots, coalition troop size +15%, +3 troops for alliance gate.


I didnt put a ton of thought into the above suggestions, just an example of some things that could make other nations much more appealing.

Replace the typical garrison defender with the japanese unique unit. That would help, as it means their garrison defenders are naturally stronger than the other nations. I think it is is sort of a shame that that isn't a thing, I'd love to have seen Samurai jump out of a Japanese base to attack my soldiers in the earlier ages rather than the only Samurai showing up to defend being from the command post. Plus, it makes sense given that the JSDF (which are what the atomic Japanese uniques are at this point) are a DEFENSE FORCE!

Associate the Greek with philosophy, just think of how many famous Greek philosophers there even are. It means that they should naturally have either a cheaper or a faster research time on University tech. It only makes sense to me, and having a natural advantage in the Uni is HUGE. Both offensively, defensively, and economically.

i agree and am afraid ignoring these nations will lead to problems in NTG in the future specially if u go high up in ranks where 90% of players become British

From NTG point of view, we should buff German and France, LOL,
I found difficult to collect Salt and Cheese among all of NTGs

Japs should have planes dealing damage to whatevers under them when they die with plane price discounts and build time for reduced stats lol

japanese should be buffed such that there is an attraction to using them in ww for extra defense.
as it is right now, the only reason to play japanese is role-playing.

Seems like the game has changed so much the devs didn't bother to think how some of the nation perks could be practically useless late game, like Greeks for example. They need to go ahead and rethink some of these perks, because 1 hour doesn't mean anything for a 13 day upgrade.

What do you think about my suggestion above? Do you think that is enough or needs something different.

At atomic level, my suggestion would remove 3 days from a 14 day upgrade.

yes i do.
however, they will need to incrementally adapt for a while to get strong suggestions like that well-balanced.
they seem to want each nation to have a unique though somewhat minimal perk.

I dont think they need to do it incrementally. They can beta test it instead like they are doing for war replay.

For 2 weeks we will let you Revolt for free(no crowns/citizens needed)

Then they can asses all the feedback and make adjustments from there.
