High Data Usage

So I've noticed DomiNations uses an extreme amount of data compared to Clash of Clans or Age of Empires: Castle Siege. Anyone else notice this? Just kind of weird since they all are generally the same type of game. Same amount of gameplay into all of them; DomiNations with a whopping 950mb while CoC only at 40mb.... Why? Not everyone has wifi at all hours of the day.

Why dominations has a high data usage, that confuses me as well, but that explains why I crash from my game every couple of minutes.

That seems like a lot. Did you maybe update the game not on wifi?

If I were to update this game (or any app/game for that matter) using my cellular data, it would show up under the app store's data usage, not DomiNations.

Even now, months later, data usage is still very high.
