That is more or less the same as we do in our alliance. Pretty much the same sequence of actions.

Like I said before, it is very important to have a set of rules, and that all members are engaged with the rules and the alliance. If you have a rotten Apple, get rid of it, before it spreads. If you cannot force a set of rules, the thing won't get any better, and I am afraid you can't do much about it.

I've just proposed alliance rules to our leader, as well as requiring members install Line. We'll see.
However, our leader is a stubborn man (just like most of the living men! ). I am not a man (I don't have the D ), so I'm hoping that my womanhood will conquer his manly ego .

Quit your alliance, join an active one for a week or two to remind yourself why you play this game and participate in wars, then go back. If the leader missed you, you will have more leverage to apply rules and kick inactive players. If not, quit the alliance for good.

What I do is to watch every single replay, if I see something silly like someone using raiders I tell him immediately, I even tell some of them what kind of army they should use in wars, if they don't listen I just leave them out of war

This Mess seems to be everywhere, I was reading the long story by @bugalho and at the end, I was in tears . I thought I am reading the same story of my alliance but a bit of difference, that our leader is not active since a very long time and we are managing the alliance for almost more than a 1year and yesterday we have decided to put the house in line its like a last try before we give up and move on. A huge reformation is going on now... we have already done the suggestion those are suggested above, but still some of the guys are horrible they just dont listen, don't reply. Its like we are talking to that yellow damn level 16 walls.
I will try with some bunch of motivated players for a last time or else will move to another alliance like a merge or create a new alliance from scratch (that means will down to 12K glory pts from 22K) and to level 1 alliance from level 10....

Yeah I was crying also, literally. There should still be hope. Gotta find a way out. I'm expecting some new ideas to build up the alliance once again. If I had thought about leaving, I would have done it years ago but I just couldn't, not that easy.

We still have some of those in the alliance. In our current war a guy decided to take their own targets in war, despite targets have been assigned. Other asked which target to take only after 12h of war - not reading the group messages. After that e performed a poor attack with raiders, and started from the wrong side. The result 23% destruction and 0 stars. Luckily this war is going easy for us, and we can cover those two, but it is desperating sometimes. People want to get in war and after that they tell that they just play for fun (who don't), and that they have children to take care of and family stuff... I understand that and of course family is much more important then the game - the real life is - but if you don't have time and don't want to commit, don't be available to wars, or just find an alliance that is not so engaged with the game. What I try to make my members understand is that we understand that people son't have 24/7 to be available to the game, and that war is about team work and glory not about loot. In war we put our effort in upgrading buildings and troops, and layout design in place, and see how strong we got and better we got against others, in a competitive team match. In our alliance we don't have whales, neither members are spending lots of money on the game, but we have committed members, that raid to have NTG for war, TG for mercs, raid constantly to evolve, and it is not fair for those members to see their efforts go to waste because of a few more relaxed members. That is what I try to make them understand and if don't have the time, availability or desire to have that kind of commitment they are left out of the war... eventually banned if don't change. The name of my alliance comes from the Latin and translates to "One for All", and that is the spirit that we try to get on everyone that enters the alliance.

That was so inspiring, again I was crying after I saw this post. So related, especially when I see people complaining about being not able to play 24/7, that they have a family and real life out there, and other blahs. I have a life outside game also, and I play for fun indeed, but it's all about time management and priority, and as you said, being competitive as a team. I guess if I ever see them complain again I'd just say, go ahead create your own alliance where it's only you in there, you don't have to war, you don't have to socialize at all
