How long does it take to train the French Hussar using training blessing?

Could someone playing as France let me know what the training time is when using the blessing to lower the training time?

Single unit, base time = 210s - 86% (French + TB + research) = 29.4s (probably rounds to 30s)

I think the base time for the French unit is 2:48. At least that's what the wiki shows and it seems right because I currently have 3:30 for the Greek unit and the French one is supposed to be produced 20% faster.

My training blessing (including any bonuses due to library research) shows +66%, so 168 seconds -66% should be 57.12 seconds, possibly rounded up to 58 secs. Can anyone playing as France confirm that?

No, the French buff is taken off the base rate of 3m30 sec. The TB and research are all additive, not sequentially applied. My calculation is correct.

Your estimation is how the French buff should be applied, but it is not how it is applied. The rate you see on the wiki is after the French buff is applied (without TB and research tacked on).

No Title

Here's a screenshot of the hussar base rate showing it's the same as all other units:

Maggiepie, thanks for the clarification on the production times. Wow, your numbers are even better than my initial assumptions, making France an even more enticing nation. Churning out heavy cavalry every 29-30 seconds is just incredible, whereas even with the training blessing other nations' units would take 71 seconds, so more than double the time required.

Yes- this is why you see so many turning to France. It's great for a casual player, but just splendid for those that can invest more time but don't want to spend money.
