I wanted to help update the Wiki by using a developers build

I use the wiki often mainly to see what the build times are or how much something cost when I cant see it in game because they hide the info when upgrading some things like library research.

There is a lot of missing info on the wiki and in some cases incorrect info.

So I asked Nexon if i could gain access to a developers build so i could start adding the information, because its going to take me ages to research a full DaVinci tech tree to know how much the final tech cost or how long it takes.etc.

Their response was a joke.

It is sad the developers don't maintain their own wiki or at least help provide the data. Other companies have done this for me in the past. It's certainly frustrating not having reliable information.

I agree, if they dont want to do it, at least give the community the easy tools to do it for them.

the conversation isn't about making a wiki page, it was in regard to obtaining the information to populate said wiki.

That's another thing I hate in this game - I can't see the exact statistics. I'd like to know how bonuses are calculated and actually see each one of them in the info screen for each building/troop. Now I can only see total amount of damage, HP, etc. Not to mention stupid names like troop tactics and infantry/archers messing up with each other

So i PMed our CommMod here and without saying it directly, he told me i cant have it because im not a streamer.

So we will continue to have a wiki that is incomplete.

I didn't say it was because you're not a streamer, I said we do NOT provide developer builds. I also told you to PM what information you would like and I would provide that.

Also, that is a fan created wiki and not operated by Nexon or BHG.

Yet developer builds have been given out to streamers/youtubers in the past.

I know its a fan operated wiki. How about you guys provide us with a wiki instead of making us do it ourselves or give us the tools, developer build, to fully create the wiki.

INformation i want on the wiki:

Crown cost for instant upgrade on EVERYTHING, just the instant time finish, not what it would take to fill resources too.
Full upgrade cost/stats on all generals.
Full upgrade time/cost for all university research with and without the discounts you get from research like musa.
Stats for every troop tactic in the game and every event building and its troops in the game.
Drop rates for NTG.

Im sure there are things im not thinking of right now but thats a start.

Would be nice if they just created the wiki themselves so it wouldnt have any missing info or wrong info.

Unfortunately the moderators of this forum replies only to certain players, unless you insult them. Insulting them won't necessarily bring answers, but they may come and close the thread showing at least their activity

Someone answer him, he didn't request anything out off ordinary. This is all the player base can benefit from. Alot of players just like me and him check the wiki from time to time to obtain a peace of info. That is not provided in the game or it's hidden.
providing a statical sheet that you already have and clicking the attack button that would take a few mere seconds won't kill anybody.

I would like to see an updated wiki as much as the next guy, but you're kind of taking this too far. At this point you have acted quite childish towards this subject. By the way you have been acting, do you really believe they would give you the tools of that of a developer when you have been acting like a child towards them? Take it like this, you wouldn't give a toy to a kid that has been mistreating and pestering you, would you?
I do find it a shame that our wiki isn't as up to date, and it's disappointing that they are willing to give the builds to streamers to promote their game and leave it to just that-promoting it. I see big youtubers who only pick up the game once and then forget about it. I mostly just watch the youtubers who worked their way there, because most of those youtubers are actual players who has played the game.
Providing for the fan made wiki could be a form of promotion, lots of players look at the wiki and I'm sure lots of new players would reference off of it to help them immeasurably, and thus keep them hooked to look for something to reach, a sort of goal that would keep them playing.
I'm so thankful for the people who's contributed to the community and bestow us the knowledge of those stats and information, but with the addition of new stat changing tech and research, getting the correct numbers for base things seem very challenging.
If it's a fan made wiki, would it mean anyone could edit the wiki themselves? If so, would it be possible for the developers themselves to provide that information for us?

I asked for the dev build and didnt get it. ok thats fine.

I then asked for the information i was looking for as requested and nothing has been communicated to me or the community. Just acknowledge he cannot provide the information and explain why, or say "im working on getting the data", or provide it.
