Just something I've been wondering about, the Greeks never really designed an indigenous tank and I know that the cavalry will be replaced by tanks in this age, does anyone have any idea what the devs are planning to do for this?

Im pretty sure Rome didnt exist past enlightenment...Im sure they will do what they do for every non-unique troop type, give them the same generalized troop unit.

Technically, they did make it to medieval, only in the form of the Roman Catholic Church who did kill many people and was a political power. Js. But of coouursee, I guess you can say it's not the same thing.

Well, the Romans did lived on the Middle Ages, in the form of the Byzantine Empire, Based on Byzantium (later Constantinople, then Byzantium again, then Istambul from the turkish takeover to this day) direct successor of the Eastern Roman Empire. In fact, the fall of the Byzantines marks the end of the Middle Ages.

Anyway, this is a game, and as such, the more it advances in time, the more it have to deal with "what if" scenarios, for the sake of fun. Imagine reaching a new age and a pop-up appearing saying that your current Civ is no more and you must choose one that truly lived on that era?

If the German bonus was not so one-dimensional (just a faster rally and no economic bonus at all) I was playing with them from day one. When Industrial and perhaps Atomic Age (WWI and WWII) arrives, that should be THEIR Age. Excepting the anti-semitic and totalitarism bullshet, Germany got it all right, from the tanks capable of one-shoting the enemy ones to the Hugo Boss soldier uniforms.

ur not even halfway there. max level is 108 which is more than double 63. wall costs escalate massively. lvl11 wall is 4mil a peice

Haha Im sure a lot of people would be upset if they unknowingly picked a country and later had to change because they didnt exist in a certain age.
