Keep Getting Attacked By +15 Levels Higher

Why am I keep getting attacked by people who are 10-20 levels higher?? Something needs to be done with the matching system...It's getting absolutely despicable!! How am I supposed to save up when this constantly happens?? I can understand being attacked by people who are within 5 levels above or below. But 15+ levels??? Do something to make the matching system more FAIR. Please and thank you.

Matchmaking is based on medals not level

Then what is the point of setting up defenses?? Lets just leave everything out there for the taken...Everything is overwhelmed and useless against a 15+ level person.

This is not a game bug. It's how the multiplayer works, based on medals. If you are constantly being attacked by players 10-20 levels higher then you are probably too high in medals. Let your medals drop, or purposely lower then until you get opponents closer to your own level. Getting attacked by big opponents is part of the game, it means either you need to build or improve your base and rethink your strategy with regards to medals. Take a long term approach to the game, build your base, experiment with different defensive and attacking strategies, don't take raids too personally. Good luck.

I am not being attacked by 15-20 higher "medals" people...But rather 15-20 higher LEVELS people.There is a HUGE difference...Somebody who is 15-20 higher medals is totally fine, but somebody who is 15-20 higher LEVELS (at least one or two ages ahead) is unacceptable. I am at level 45 and being attacked by people at level 60-65??

We understand that. What is your current medal count? If you are constantly being raided by people 15-20 levels higher than you maybe you should drop medals.

That was a typo...I meant "levels" in my posting. I attacked a player on level 51 yesterday. I'm level 105. I'm 50 levels higher than that player. This happened because that player has more than 1400 medals, like I do. You will be matched against opponents based on your medals, not your levels. That's how this game works. If you are not happy about it, open a new topic in "General Discussion" because this is not a game bug.

Sometimes I attack people 60 levels below me. Go figure.

It's funny that people get upset when the game actually works. I love smashing those little bases, makes me feel much better after scrapping for 5000 in loot against another level 100plus player.

sometimes i attack players that are below lvl50 just because i know how hard they must be trying to get the medals.
its fun to see if i can 100% them without any losses.
