In a metagame that devolves to 'throw as many infantry through APCs and troop cards as possible (if you're not using EA cards) at a base and watch it be unable to handle them all because of 7 decoys distracting all the damage from killing them all' the building that was originally supposed to hose down clumps of troops trying to pass through it did feel especially useless, even when it was actually attacking the infantry clumps through the absolute spam that is 7 decoys. I'm glad they looked into tossing it a bone. Though I am unsure if doing so through a uni tech was better than a straight up buff.

As of now, I only need a Level 1 Demolition to blow up a Level 1 Redoubt, and so on and so forth. I kinda want to keep it that way the entirety of playing through the ages.

You win the prize! the circle has been increased in size to cover the area threatened by the Town Center.

Man I haven't even cleared the old forest yet, need to go full Brazilian and wax that forest away. Everyone already asked the questions about town center radius spawn so no point in asking again.

Only bugs things I wanted to comment on:

Top thing on the list about troop cards not being able to be duplicated. So that means I won't get constantly raided by elephant archers anymore. It is something that's been happening to my base MP quite often lately. I'm getting raided and players are going ham with troop cards attacking my base. Yes people can use troop cards to raid but when it's constantly elephant archers or event troop cards that you would never get back once they are used (Multiple Guan Yu's) than it gets a little annoying. It's very annoying in war especially when every attacker from cold war to medieval is coming at you with at least 2 elephant archers and whatever event troop card there is. And than multiply that by 2 because they use that combo on both attacks. That's how we lost our last war. Anyway at the same point, would I use it as well? Probably. I know it's similar to people using the glitch to put 100 howis in town center in war bases but that can still be countered because of sabotage/blitz. Anyway I think that glitch was patched because we haven't seen that in a long while now.

Prepare for battle screen. Useless idea because as it was mentioned above, you can always just leave without penalty as long as you don't drop a troop/tactic. You can even let the battle run and not drop a troop and still not get penalized. So my question is if the battle screen is somewhat see through or does it allow some sort of additional scouting before the battle starts other than the 30 seconds you would normally get? If that's the case than I really hate it. People normally decide in those few seconds whether the base is worth attacking and as long as your base looks difficult enough they pass. That's how I avoid getting raided all day even though there's a lot of potential oil to be stolen.

Coalitions can now be added from inventory. So they are adding in coalitions into victory chests and daily league? What I don't like about the idea is that all I want from chests and league rewards are troop cards which I haven't gotten in weeks. There's supposed to be a benefit of being in higher leagues. I generally always in kingdom league because I would like more troop cards and I would hope that benefits my victory chest as well. Instead my 3 options are always 3 million food/gold, a blessing (Usually storage) and one nation trade good. How is that even or correct. Something changed in how its distributed because a month ago I would generally get a troop card every other day. I do get oil as well and while it's nice, again I want the troop cards for war. If I wanted oil I would just drop medals and get it that way. I like the idea of getting them as an item but I want to know when they can be added. In the current system you can only add defense coalitions before war starts but attack ones can be added anytime even during war. I don't like the idea of being able to add defense ones during war because it really messes up the dynamics. That would really benefit the players that wait until the very last minute. So if my base for example was the last to stand and they have just the one attack left, as long as I waited long enough I could slap on def coals for one single attack. Honestly Id rather have it to where you can only add coalitions before war starts and that's it. It would make for much more interesting game play, you get 24 hours to strategize and than you leave it up to chance though if you're been in enough wars you generally know how you're base will hold up or how well you attack. I like the idea because there was players that haven't logged in for days and come in at the last second to spoil things.

So why is it communicated as a fix when it's really just a permanent change? As Arminius said, the range has been that way for 3 years and only recently increased.

I think the radius was originally the larger size. Later a bug was introduced to calm the complainers who were screaming that howies in TC was OP. :)

TinSoldier , in the past you've said the TC radius has not increased despite many of us saying it has, and quite frankly, WE would know.
By making the circle bigger you just made the new larger radius permanent. This is not a fix.
TBH, this hasn't affected my attacks that much, my troops still kill what's there, but taking the path of least resistance is not how you fix things!

Rocket Arsenal? Sounds cool. Too bad I’m still in the Industrial Age.
Wait... The missile silo’s range is increasing? Aw man! If it wasn’t overpowered enough...
The art fixes and machine-gun pathing is nice to hear, I wonder what the art fixes are. But I think the Wall-Miner pathing needs fixing more.

The adding of coalitions to the inventory and then claiming them? Does this mean you can form a coalition and then add it to the inventory for use later? If this is the case, can you still do it if you have full coalitions set? I like the idea behind this, it will mean that when you are full of coalitions you can use them up.

Or, alternatively, does this mean that we will gain coalitions from the daily dock bonus and the battle bonus?

Upgrade your dock for troop cards. With a maxed dock you can actually get some decent troop cards. They're not elephant archers, but they can complement your army nicely, and they only take a couple of workers to get a near constant stream of free cards.

Frontier Force Army has 1 field howitzer, 4 veteran machine guns, and a wall breaker. All lvl 7.

ROK Army has 1 APC, 8 republic riflemen, and 1 supply convoy. All lvl 7.

With library research each of these takes 2 workers / 22 hours.

Dock's pretty lame until you get it to AA but with recent upgrade it's actually useful.

Coalitions going into inventory means they will have some custom coalitions that can be sold.

Any bets?

Too bad the game developers didn't balance out the game play by either giving everyone the ability to attack two ages below them, or take that perk away from the Cold War Age.

Why would they unbalance the game like that?

CWA is really just Atomic 1.1. There aren't even any new buildings in CWA, just modest upgrades on stuff.

Any updates on when 6.2 will be released? It’s normally out within a few days of patch note release.
Also what happened to museum? Seems like that will be a 6.3 thing.

On the note of 6.3 please consider a 3rd armory slot or a 2nd armory much like the 2nd factory. Works ok for factory so why not armory? Very easy to do I would imagine.

Will future factory and air upgrades follow the barracks path with expertise? I’m hoping so as this is a great move to reduce armory bottlekneck

How does it reduce the bottleneck? You still have to upgrade your armory, airstrip and factory. Still have to upgrade each unit individually. The only difference is now instead of receiving the full benefit of the upgrade after that you also have to upgrade your three barracks. Whereas before you got increased stats on the troops and more troops to play around with.

Guess having up to 140 troops come out of strongholds and up to 140 more be card spams was more important than what had been basic upgrade functionality. Your mileage may vary.
