I understand the next Era is Industrial Age but at the looks of things, we will catch up pretty quickly so I ask BigHugeGames to take it somewhat slowly and extend the eras.
For example, please for God's sake, do not add modern age after industrial age and then spage age after and the end. It will get boring quite too fast.

Progress smoothly and do not rush to the space age please, theres' so many features that can be included even during space age then such as alliance maybe owning planets (you know cause space age) and fighting/conquering/defending planets! Hopefully space age won't be out till further out in the future.

I propose: Industrial Age, Modern Age, Information Era, X, X, X, X, Space Age

Just think about the longterm results of the game please, thanks!

I agree. personally, I wanted the next age after enlightenment to be the imperial age, which would focus more on economy. But since the industrial age was already released I guessed it will never happen. But I do want it to be the industrial age, the second industrial age (focusing on WW2 weapons and such), modern age (focusing on Vietnam war type warfare), information age (focusing on today's warfare), nano/science age(focusing on science and nanotechnology and robots), and then perhaps the space age (focusing on space and planetary warfare). Just my opinion, hope you guys like it.

depending on a players willingness to spend its a forgone conclusion some players will always be maxed out. The only real way to extend a game play ability is to make it tactical hard to be on top so that its skill on its own that sets players above the rest not cash. Having tactically diverse units that make it hard to counter with just one army type/composition. So players can be challenged by the shear variety of defences set ups available so only master tacticians as players win out. Variety comes from players being allowed settings within defences that can change there abilities favourite targets strengths and weakness. At some point in the game players scouting time needs extending. So they can pick unit types for attacking units and select optional boosts or traits after looking at the defenders defences, so you pick a target then the game gives you time to select unit load outs and skills before you attack. This creates variety even in maxed out players lives and keep it challenging. Tactics like delay and retreat are always good in time limited battles if the defender sets its units on distraction mode they don't go in all guns blasting but try to get units to move from weak points in defences or rich targets, another are traps that units draw attackers into so units that are a favoured target of say horsemen, draw horsemen into traps set to destroy horsemen. These maybe only cheap throw away units with no other tactical use. So it comes down to the AI running units and defences up to now they are poor I see units hitting several sections of the same wall, when there are gaps to be used I have seen units seemingly take random paths to get to where you select as a target. I can see this game is in early development and it will improve over time. And the ways it improves are as important as how many new ages they add.

Be good if they can stretch out the ages to keep people working towards something as long as they can.There is a limit to what they can do though unless each age has only a couple of new things buildable or upgradeable.Theres only so much room on the map,wonders take up heaps of space so they couldn't introduce too many more.Maybe it'll end up like clash of clans where they slowly make the next level of things available.Some big wonders at the end would be good,ones that take ages to build.Some sort of technology choice would be good too to seperate people even more,diversity is a big strength of this game.
