Medal bonus for 5 starring leader!

Here's a thought,

As a part of any future medal system, let's add a large medal bonus for 5 starring someone on the leader boards.

Possibly 5 for top 200, 10 for top 100, 15 for top 50, 20 for top 20, 25 for top 10, and 50 for #1.

Good to have medal bonus for the top 200 for 5 stars battle, but it's too high and harder for the bottom to chase up the top.

i don't think they need to give any bonus to the top players, if anything they need to slow them down so they aren't 5k medals above the rest of the players.

Maybe I wasn't clear, the bonus would be for someone who defeats people on the leader boards. Maybe it should only be for people not on the leader boards. So if an unranked player 5 stars the #1 player, they'd get 50 bonus medals (and the #1 player would lose them). This would make it very hard to retain a #1 status.

I read your ridiculous idea!! You clearly said award low level players an extra 50 medals for 5 starring the #1 player which would equal a total of maybe say around 86 medals lost for the #1 player in a single battle. So your saying the #1 player who worked his butt off winning 1 medal at a time should get penalized like that for being #1. Thats what you said in your original post yes or no?

By the way, umyo, what are you so afraid of? I almost never get 5 starred, and you've got 20 levels on me. A top 10 player, lvl 158, attacked me last night, with a maxed army, 4 tactics, armor and weapon blessings, and got 3 stars. I'll tell you what, let's talk to the devs, I'll give you 100 medals if you can 5 star me.

Oh, by the way, that brings me to my duel idea. See the forums. But since it might cost you medals, I'm guessing it will be the second worst idea you've ever seen.

Then link that post in your original topic. How am I going to magically realize you are talking about another post... All I see is award 50 extra medals to a low level player for 5 starring the number 1 player. Right? All you are going to do with your original thought is discourage people from wanting to be number 1 or be in the top 200 correct? Do you want to log in one day and see you just got hit for 56 medals. What is stopping me from being a mercenary and not caring about being in the top 200 and just sitting around the low level medals and just merking high medal accounts all day with my maxed out offense and taking 56 medals from them and then dumping them onto an alliance of my choosing since I dont feel like being in the top 200 because it would just be a bunch of BS and frustration while being there. The only way to get a decent medal system down is awarding the percentage of medals to the winner with the percentage of destruction he unleashes on a base. So if he wants to do the boring all raider attack and just get the TC and only take down 15% of the base then he should get 15% of the medals not 16 out of the 36 that can be potentially won. Just because you were able to quick vic a TC. Your not looking at the real issue with your thought.. Low level accounts are not having issues finding medals or battles. I remember being at 2400 and the game was still fun. When you get to 3k the game isnt fun anymore and your idea really just makes it unbearable and thats why I flipped because I dont want to see ideas like this getting passed around when it makes no sense what so ever for someone to lose 86 medals ever when just finding a battle up here is hard enough already. Now I got to recoup 56 medals because I am getting penalized for being in the top 200.

And by the way I am not afraid of anything. I don't remember the last time I was 5 starred and I am just a low level 118 with over 3k medals so I am a big target out there and I am not worried at all. And I would 5 star you in a heart beat dude. No doubt about it! Thats what I do I destroy sht... I have never came across a lower then 135 level that I havent completely destroyed. I am a wrecking ball that you dont want to see believe me.

It is amazing how the game with tons of features and graphics turns to be a just two buttons application with notification: battle -> find opponent -> no opponents and do it for 30 mins,
have fun, buy 30% more crowns.

I decline doing this. And I will not drop medals on purpose I earned so hard, so I just don't play.

I really appreciate you sharing the details of your experiences, and your current frustration. They are indicative of the concerns and frustrations that many of us share with you. And you're right that I should have included a link to my medal/marching system proposal. I'll add one. The goal related to this medal bonus for 5 starring leaders is to increase competition for spots on the leader board, and also to slow progression in total medal numbers if/when a new system is implemented. It's also another good incentive for 5 starring, which is hard to do. Since you feel passionate about these items, and also feel bored and would like to see reasons to play more, please support my ideas or offer alternatives. We all need to work hard to push for changes from the devs.
