Okay I try to keep it short.
Nexon really simply think the missile silo hasn't created enough trouble. Instead of nerf it, they even add library research to buff it in CWA.
Really? Have you guys try to listen to the community?

Oh well, I think some fanboys are going to ask me stop whining and lives with the update again.

Silo is just fine for war. But the game is designed around 5-starring your opponent for diamonds and NTGs in multiplayer. It's nearly impossible to reliably and cheaply do that any longer with the silo. At mid to high medals (where Nexon has encouraged us to be), you can't 5-star bases with the silo without spending a bunch of tactics and generals.

Aren't generals and HTs by and large the *only* way you can 5-star MS bases? I think I've seen one or two Brit line attacks succeed against it, but I can't find the video so take my claims with a grain of salt. I've quite literally only seen people take down the silo with generals, tanks, or tactics.

But I guess this is what people get. Say they heavily nerf or even remove the MS. Then people will complain again, saying it is too easy to 5-star in this game. At this point I would rather have that than the constant whining about the silo and the extreme army rebuilding times.

And I'm not even a high-medal GA/AA/CWA. I can only imagine how long it takes to retrain everything between attacks at that level where everyone either has the silo or is on their way down in medals.

Ever since that they have brought the Missile Silo in this game, I've changed my army composition, back then I was running the 4-6 Field Howitz then all Brit rifles and some Supply truck. And now i'm raiding and attacking on war with 6 HT mk5. Raiding is easy, no troop lost even with missile silo base. However im only raiding at 1200-1700 medal range. On war I go all out with mercenary and generals, only time i lost in battle is a Strong hold with elephant archers.

@Persia

Nah you can easily beat a 5 Star MS base. It depends on the level of course but its easy if you have 2-3 tanks and planes.

I doubt that silo is fine for war. I am not saying it needs to be totally removed but the mechanism need some changes. Now it just limit the choice of the troops and tactics, and also the play style.

Just adding to the missile silo discussion, defense in general has outpaced offense. Most troop DPS/HP increases are between 5-8%. Defensive buildings HP increases are between 20-25%. That's just what I can see in my AA base before I go to CW (if I even go there).
Then you add the very specific library chapter exclusively for the silo.
What possesses the people at Nexon? This is supposed to be an attacking game, right? Why is it so hard to understand that we need offensive boosts?
Troop cards are no longer a wish, now they're a necessity.

It is obvious that Nexon is trying to squeeze money out of the players, especially those in the top alliance.

Every recent updates they apply is making attacking bases harder and harder. The troop tactics defending stronghold, the tactics nerf, the 70% HP General from a destroyed castle, and this missile silo etc.

I dont think they are posting challenge to the players. To me these are never challenges. they just make the game not fun anymore.

The missile silo took all diversity out of the game. It narrows the focus of an attack completely down to handling the silo. Especially in Multiplayer the game isn't fun anymore. It rendered the game totally boring. And the worst is that they even give it a buff while at the same time not providing any real balance for offense. The silo should be modified asap. Change the fire rate for instance: Let's say first shot after 10 seconds and all succeeding shots after 20 seconds. Do the developers even test the game or listen to the community?

3 tanks in front of your troops will take the impact from the silo. IA tanks can handle 7 hits from the silo. Depending on silo placement 2 sabs can knock that shit right out. If your research is complete for demo and use the right coalition for war you can knock that shit out with 3. Everyone complains about these new defences when all you need to do is find a way to deal with it. It’s like the stronghold all over again

Probably the new barrack unit will replace howitzers and make MS issue more easy to deal with. It has the power of howitzers and hp of a tank. Lower range will be the problem, of cause) I'm just upgrading roads on my way to CW, can't wait to check this new unit in action:)

Oh, we aren't done complaining about the SH, especially when it is full of PTW EA troops. See the whole 0SH movement.

The Missile Silo in war hasn't really been the issue. MP is the problem. Using full tank destroyer mercenaries, generals and / or a bunch of tactics on the attack deals with it acceptably in a full tilt war attack. That just doesn't translate over into the number of 5 star attacks required per day to maintain a full set of ntgs for war coalitions.

What yemen said. And therein lies the problem.
It's a grind for NTGs, instead of challenging but enjoyable gaming.
