New members after the update

Before the last update we usually got a new member very fast after kicking a member. Now it takes ages.. Meaning hours/days
We are open w 800 medals minimum requirement - so that shouldnt be an issue

Yes something needs to be done and quickly, we are not recruiting any player's despite advertising on the forum, i am trying to keep my Alliance Active and Fun with War's and chat how are we going to survive with no new players, hope they do something fast

My alliance got 3 new members since the last update within 24h. Something changed, keeping my fingers crossed that the gate has been fixed. If it's so, thanks so much Nexon! Thanks!

same issue with my alliance - bleeding souls. noticed ra distinct drop in new members right after the previous update. i thought players were dwindling due to frustration over game bugs

This wasnt fixed with the patch? I cant tell because we absorbed a group of 6 players and have been over the previous mark of 46 where we would get new recruits.

Nexon please fix this already it is insane. It doesnt impact me directly, but its plain as day that you are going to kill many mid level active and important alliances in this game.

Must be nice. We got our first person to join in at least a week today. He quit about 10 seconds later. Is there something you did to get it fixed?

Ours is not "fixed" - we have had a smattering of new members but no huge influx on kicking like before, and I am still too concerned to kick the ones who nd to go. We are steady at 33 and have finally been able to run a 20-20 war.

Not at all. Maybe it was just a coincidence. We booted 2 of them after 2 days of inactivity and zero acknowledgement of our rules but nobody has joined since then. It's possible they joined after seeing our recruiting post but it seems unlikely that so many would show up all at once.

Not fixed for us either. What's adding insult to injury is the total lack of response of the moderators. I contacted Iron about this directly and got an inane reply that reiterated that a change was made that "they" are monitoring the numbers and considering their options. For my part the option I am considering is hopping on a plane to protest outside the Maryland offices of Big Huge Games (aka Bugs Hacks and Glitches). COME ON Mr. Reynolds and Mr. Train! Don't be distracted by the money Nexon is paying you for BHG. Sort this out! You only have one product and you are treating your best customers like dross. They'll do the same to you if you continue to ignore them.

This problem is still going on...
We kicked 3 players for lack of donations/Inactivity this weekend - so far we got 1 new one and we are at 44 members... There is also 2-3 more that deserve the boot but I am hesitant of kicking them... In fear that we will slowly bleed out..

We're up to 40 now which has helped but NONE have come through them finding us. The problem persists and we need up to ten more players. WHY ARE NEXON AND BHG IGNORING THIS?

Yes problem is still on going... Moderators in the forum seem to be ignoring this thread as well unless they feel they need to delete or edit posts in the thread... Looks like that is more important to make a real comment on this issue.

Sorry, I didn't know that the problem isn't fixed yet for your alliances. We had a spurt of members joining for awhile, then there was none again, maybe the problem still persist.

And why is Nexon turning a blind eye on this? It just baffles me.

Drift - we are more lucky than most I guess. We have a good core of high level players who are active several hrs a day and we have built up a second core of medium players who are active daily as well.
Part of the reason is of course that we have been pretty successful at WW, this keep our members interest up.
We are currently 44 players (kicked 3 players a week ago and so far got 1 new), and usually we have 32-37 to choose from when declaring 30x30 wars.. but if the "new member issue had been resolved we would probably have kicked 5-6 more. One reason why we have a strong core now is that we were very good at weeding out players who didn't contribute before.. now we must be careful with the "weeding". So the main problem with the lack of new member inflow is that alliances will die because you cannot so easily weed out the non-contributors

Actually the system, as it is now, favors the big alliances with many sister alliances... If you have 10 sister alliances, like some do, u have a higher inflow, since you have more entry points and you just move the best up the ladder gradually, keeping a couple of strong alliances at the top. Stand alone alliances will suffer

Drift - we are a little over 1/3 European, about the same from the US and the rest is middle east and far east - We are the United Nations known as Viking Army :)
