Summarizing my last 37 attacks on this new NTG system. 7 attacks on Greeks and no scrolls. 5 attacks on Japanese and only 1 silk. Get marble and porcelain like crazy, but almost nothing else. So much worse than it used to be.

It's a bug. Or must be a bug. They forgot that University research exists to increase NTG chances for four NTGs (e.g., in Uni Wu has +20% tea, porcelain/marble/scrolls have +10%); and it appears these values are being treated as making them the only possible NTGs to get. In other words, +10% chance of porcelain means +10000000000000000000000% chance of porcelain.

This is a major problem.

In the meantime, use Bjorn.

Well, it hasn’t. 10 attacks today, and all I’ve been getting is cheese and tea ntgs. I went from never having a problem of keeping ntgs filled to now having problems with over 80% of rewarded ntgs being for about 4 or 5 items, while the rest hardly ever come up.

Can you send me a DM with your in game name and Player ID? We'll take a look to see what's going on, since this should have been fixed!

It’s still doing it today. The new NTG system is a step backwards, it makes it *harder* to get the NTGs you need, couldn’t you just put it back the way it was?

Why bother, your customer service is non-existent. I’ve sent photos of an ongoing issue since November of this year of my university time never finishing, and C.S. has done nothing except give a lame “sorry ‘bout that” response.

we need an official response about the new NTG system. Leviathan
Will you guys take a good look at your data and fine tune accordingly?
You have our testimonies that this is not a step forward for players. Nobody likes the changes.

The root of the problem was tying a demand that varies drastically in popularity (coalitions) to a supply that varies drastically in popularity (chosen nations). All they did with this change was make the supply more random, which doesn't do anything in the aggregate to help meet the demand. At least with the previous system you knew which nations you needed to find.

I see no reason for even having nation-specific trade goods needed for coalitions in the first place. There's no interesting gameplay that results from it. A Japanese base is likely to be just as hard or easy to attack as a British one, so we have a system where I'm required to find certain randomly chosen decorations in order to prepare my army for battle most effectively. There's no sense to it.
