Please, give some INTERESTING prizes when you launch an event

Nexon, BHG,

Did anyone from your team had some marketing or sales training? You should know that if you want people to participate to some "events", the prizes that you can win, must be interesting to participate.

Did you see yourself what you offer for the last WW2 event? One small troop card, a 5min acceleration, etc.. This is peanuts that does not justify spending hours in this event. Do you play YOURSELF at all?

Same goes for the chest bonus, where you can get a lousy 50'000 gold as HUGE bonus. One good attack can get you 1 million of gold.

Are the gains defined by a child ? Some AI agent ? This is really strange for a game that is 4 years old.

What do you think they play in their spare time? It's sure as hell not Dominations.

Yet another /facepalm thread.

No, you don’t make INTERESTING prizes on your pilot version of new system. Any sane game designer will get some real world data before calibrating prizes to effort ratio.

And yes some critical bugs may occur and prevent some players from gaining prizes.

Why shouldn't we expect good prizes for our money? Why shouldn't we expect good prizes for free? Do the designers want to keep our loyalty or not?
And why should there be bugs with each new system? Other games offers prizes for free or for money and have no issues. This company is not starting out for the first time, they've been around the block.

Loyalty? There is no loyalty on this forum. Bashing and bitching is common language here. Of course this make any communication with developers impossible.

So why not plan a beta version of this new event, so that you can tweak, fix the bugs and "calibrate" the prizing to the observed efforts. This was done once in this game, and it worked very well with the gaming community.

And to come back on my initial point, I consider the effort too high in this game to earn anything. The ratio is very bad if you ask me. Now if the gains were more interesting, I would probably participate more in these events.

The toadies in this forum are unbelievable. Like small children who love mommy, get personally insulted by any slight sent mommy's way because mommy is perfect and never makes mistakes. I'm not saying every complainer, or even a majority of them, are right and that some aren't over the top and completely ludicrous. However, most tend to love the game like a parent loves an unruly teenager. You know what they're capable of for better or worse, you're well aware of their mistakes and the fact that they will inevitably make more, but you love them all the same and try to offer advice and steer them down a better path. If these complainers didn't care there's a world of entertainment options out there. The day the complaints stop will either be the happiest (because despite all odds the game is perfect) or saddest (because people finally got fed up and quit playing, and the game shut down) day in Dominations history.

This is the game's official forum. This is the place that everyone is directed to over any issues, great and small. People say ''mean'' things in the one place where we get even the slightest interaction with the people who run things? Boo hoo, my heart bleeds for the poor devs. Again, some complaints are over the top, insulting and completely impractical/absurd. Welcome to the internet. Over the years I've seen numerous complaints that also offer constructive criticism and actually doable suggestions in a helpful and friendly manner that aren't the least bit antagonistic. At best, those get a ''that sounds like a neat idea!''. 99% of the time they get the same reaction as an all-caps, incoherent and vitriolic rant, which is to say, nothing. You people act like this rancor just randomly appeared out of the blue instead of being slowly brought on by an often ignored and insulted player base.

I'm loving the new spin of ''become a developer yourself if you don't like it!'' ''It's their game they don't have to listen to you!'' No, they certainly don't but it's abundantly clear they don't play their game. So clearly they want to sell it as a product. If the devs get their feelings hurt by being called out by some of their most passionate and loyal( Yes, loyal. They're still here despite it all. Loyalty and being obsequious are 2 different things) perhaps they're in the wrong line of work.

By all means though. We've established that these folks rarely listen regardless of the tone of any posts or questions. So what, pray tell, would you have an upset and oft-ignored customer do to be the change they want to see? I know this may be tough to answer since the dev team and CS is clearly above reproach but let's think outside the box here.

Personally, I think they could offer more in-game survey and questionnaires. Sure, there's absolutely no way to prove that the results aren't being manipulated to get whatever answers the dev team wants. And going by most of what I see on myriad social media outlets there's a long-simmering lack of trust among the most vocal sections of the fan base. However, even the slightest inkling that fans' concerns matter could be the first step in the journey to regain that trust.

I think the first step to making us think we matter would be as you suggest: give us questionnaires to get our opinions BEFORE they make changes. It's a good start.
