Please Wait?

After the update, when I click on the Donate button for a troop request, I'm often presented with a Please Wait message.

Indeed, after waiting a bit, I'm able to donate. Anyone else seeing this? It's not super annoying, but is a bit of a pain when I'm just doing a quick pop in to look for troop requests and have to wait for some unknown reason.

It usually lasts just a few seconds, and only right when I open chat the first time in a session. I think it has to do with the fact that you used to be able to enter chat real quick and donate more than 6 units to a person? Seems to have fixed that.

Also, the glitch where alliance troops could be gathered to crazy amounts (~100) over time seems to be fixed too...not sure if anyone can confirm that or not, but its welcome

I'm seeing that also. I guess it's the way to make sure that our donations will be safely received, and there will be no troop request glitch?
I'm ok if it's for some good reasons.

Sometimes the Please Wait message goes away quickly. But, just right now I've been in game for about 3-4 mins, and I'm still getting the message. This could wind up being a bigger issue than I thought. Especially if someone does the instant retrain to sneak in 2 war attacks at the last minute. If I can't send them troops for more than 5 mins it could be bad. (Just tried again, it's been way over 5 mins now, and I'm still getting the wait message)

Sometimes it lasts minutes. Kind of annoying when I just want to pop in and clear all the donation requests quick

I've seen that. I think is because somebody is donating first.

Cause people always need something to complain about. I’m not complaining about it cause to me it’s no big deal. I wait a few seconds and it’s gone.

At first it was only requiring me to wait a few seconds, which, all in all wasn't that big of a deal. A bit annoying, but livable. After dealing with it a bit more, it's worse than originally thought.

Current pattern is this:
--I login, check chat for donations. I know not to try right away, so collect all of my resources.
--I then try to donate. About 75% of the time I get the Please Wait message. So, I do some hunting, check worker progress etc...
--Try again. Please Wait.
--Do an attack.
--Try again. Please Wait.

I'm now more than 5 mins into the Please Wait, yet I'm still not able to donate.

I've tried doing several attacks, waiting about 15 mins and I still get the Please Wait.

It seems as though once the message appears, it doesn't matter how long you wait, it's never going to clear. (Unless someone else does a partial donation, then it appears to clear the Please Wait message)

I then have to restart the game, and wait a really long time before I try to donate.

Wash, Rinse, Repeat

I'm sure that this was wait was put in to fix some type of donation bug, but it clearly wasn't implemented correctly.
