Spartan Event! Send Expeditions which take multiple citizens and few days?

I had to stop few building upgrades just so I might be able to complete this particular quest which makes your ~8 citizens stuck doing expeditions just for this event..

Reduce the number of citizens and the time required to complete these expeditions if you include expeditions as quests in event like the WW II anniversary event which lasted for a month.
or
Reduce the number of expeditions necessary to complete the quest significantly.

I have even stopped University research for this particular event quest.

I'd suggest passing on these days unless the reward is worth it. A few TTs arent worth slowing down your base progress
