Supplies and Expeditions

Hi, My dock is GBA and I get just a few 5hrs trips with supplies, compared to the flood of the other resources.

Upgrading it to AA and CWA will give me more supplies trips or the contrary? This supplie shortage is crazy and I dont want it to get worse.

Upgrading to AA will replace one 5 hour with supplies for another 5 hour with supplies - not sure the exact numbers of supplies, but it isn't worse.

I don't know exactly the number of trips that give me supplies at the moment and I had the impression that upgrading the docks, another bunch would be added to the pool. I didn't know they were replaced instead.

@Touchpad Warrior...I have the AA shipyard and it is maxed out since there is no more upgrade available further and i can have only 2 destinations available for getting supplies from the expeditons. Supplies is the toughest to get. I suggest to the developer team already to think over it and add supplies to 1 or 2 more destinations. Let's see what they do in future.

lvl 9 shipyard data is With Opera House wonder and all data is with completed Library research

If Rio de Janeiro and Kiel were available every day, it would be fine, but they only come up every 2 days.

Ok so upgrading it to AA I'll lose Rangoon and gain Rio de Janeiro according to that data table and it won't change the consistency of the supplies missions since I'm losing 5 trips and gaining other 5.

I guess the only incentive I have to upgrade it is that Rangoon gives us 23 supplies while Rio de Janeiro gives 51.

How come BHG don't see how fuck up this is? we have 9 researcher missions, 5 with benefactors and another 5 with supplies in total... should be 9 supp and 5 with the others since u need supplies the most. Doesn't make ANY sense. Not to mention that they said a big huge fuck you to the end game player that will struggle for MONTHS to even touch the researchers upgrades...

Yeah, it's stupid. Way too many researchers and benefactor expeditions for something that you will only upgrade once or twice in your lifetime. Meanwhile, the supplies are incredibly rare, and is needed for any kind of upgrade.

Yup, bad ratio of items given. Only researchers needed to unlock level 4 and benefactors to unlock level 5 YET you need supplies for unlocking all levels. In alliance we have players who have a 2:1 ratio of researchers to supplies. I suppose you can get lucky at getting supplies from victory chests, dock rewards, or the extra chest from sending a general along for the expedition but that rarely happens. Even with the victory chest I don't know what league you need to be in to have a higher chance for them or more likely that it's all random.

Good info. The times seem a little off for the level 6-7 shipyard. I guess as long as people realize that you need level 9 library and all the research done. I know that you wrote that at top but some people will bypass that info. The chances that someone has researched the entire expedition section in library but still uses low level shipyard is probably low these days but seeing your info, it's not a bad idea for newer players. Since they removed the 24 hours secondary peace treaty from demo squad, only the 12H one still remains. And since the summer rush event is coming, worth a look at doing so.

This is perhaps a dumb question, but until now I've almost never used my dock (I have done 19 trips in total). Is there a way to "drop" the longer timed expeditions and encourage more 5 or 10 hour trips? I have a max level dock.

Like almost everyone else, I'm seeking supplies. I have three items which are very much worth upgrading.

Nope, not unless you spend crowns to manually cycle the expedition list.
