Towers shouldn’t simultaneously shoot at Troops and Aircraft. Change my Mind

It would reward proper use of Tanks to distract so I can blow them up with my Aircraft. If you doubt the truthfulness of this fact, try using an Aircraft near a Tower or Castle when a ground unit is distracting it; you’ll see what I mean.

Change your mind? Ok.
Towers have 3 or 4 soldiers on top, 2 for ground troops, 2 for aircraft.

They don't though? They shoot at the closest targets including planes, as they do move on the map. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to save my fighters numerous times by dropping a decoy on a tower cluster.

I like to think the towers are populated by the french from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. My soldiers still get killed, but its hard to get annoyed by it.

Tower shoots at anything close to it. If it’s only one troop then one or two would shoot at the troop, but if two approaching from two different angles then it would not shoot above. It’s the tactic I use to bail out my fighters.

Idk man, a tank or two closing in on your position would warrant multiple men shooting at them. But these defenses are awful crafty, I’ll give you that.

Perhaps I should record one of my attacks to show it to you all. Video coming soon!

i've wondered that too ... to be consistent towers should target the first target entering range and only retarget on destruction.
the title implies towers get to double-target aircraft and ground.

what's the actual behavior? do towers prioritize aircraft?

manifesto: do towers shoot at multiple targets simultaneously? i didn't know towers did that.

They target the closest target regardless of whether it's ground or air. If a 2nd target comes in range they'll shoot at the 2nd while still engaging the first.
(the benefit of multiple shooters)

I thought they only shot at one target at a time and that they have multiple shooters to cover each side of the tower. From what I’ve seen only one shooter fires at a time and they prioritize planes before anything else then tanks then other troops. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a tower shoot at a plane and ground troop at the same time
