Troops spawning inside my walls

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but I just encountered a player called Sitopia who spawned troops inside my walls. There are no holes inside my walls so the troops couldn't have gone through it, they really spawned inside my walls. And I'm not even talking on the edge of the walls, they spawned almost in the center.

Is this a bug or is this cheating / abusing a glitch?

If I understand correctly, then no, it's not a bug.

Each building has a surrounding area where troops cannot be placed - let's call it "no troop zone". If there's a gap in that no troop zone within your walls, then your opponent can place his troop within your walls, even though it's a closed one.

To see the no troop zone, pick up a building and put it down again. And for 2-3 seconds there'll be some area highlighted in white - that is your no troop zone.

Your method also shows no room to place anything in that zone. They seemed to be spawning on the road, which should be impossible.

Ronald, can you please provide a screenshot of your base? I have often found holes where others couldn't. It's worth a try.
