Unexplained medals losses

@Seraphine: as long as CS keeps deflecting the issue back to the players, nothing will be fixed. For goodness sake! Nexon needs to hire more competent developers!

Ravenlord - it looks like there are three concurrent issues impacting medals, if you'd like to update your first post with it so we can contain the topic to this productive thread. Or, I'll just put it here to summarize:

1) In regular multiplayer when the 30 second scout timer runs out, and battle timer starts, you can lose medals even if you end the battle without dropping a troop - this is a change from previous behavior. The medal loss will not appear immediately, but rather when you log out and back in. There is a workaround in that if you enter and win another multiplayer battle, you might not lose the medals, though I think Ive personally experienced the loss even after a subsequent win.

2) There is an issue summarized by Seraphine on page two of this thread, wherein if someone is attacking you and force quit/connection crash sometimes the battle log will not appear, resulting in medal changes without any sort of event appearing.

3) There is an issue where war attacks and defenses are counting for medals. The effect on medal count will not immediately appear on the medal icon in the main screen, though it will appear on alliance roster medal counts. Once you log out and back in the medal icon will also show the updated total counting war hits.

Put all three of these together and it makes a lot of sense why our alli chat, and many others, has been ablaze with people dropping 100+ medals out of no where when they've made no multiplayer attacks, been under treaty, etc.

Since the big server crash yesterday something must have happened again on the medal loss issues. It s hitting our entire alliance, log of the game, get attacked only once but lost hundreds of medals. I dropped by more than 200 since yesterday but only got -46 reported due to 2 battles, I haven't done any attacks since then, so no wrong result issue for sure, but I lose without ground...can some of the nerds and noobs with Nexon fix the crap of game they currently have out before asking for any money again?

A few weeks ago I experienced and figured out the "quitting after 30 second battle time" and losing medals bug. And I lost a good deal to that until I found out that was causing it, having said that I'm very careful to not go past the 30 second battle timer when scouting for this reason.

I didn't make any attacks for 24 hours or so and I was only attacked once for a loss of 17 medals! I was at 2386 to start and after being attacked once for 17 medals, instead of being at 2369 I was at 2296!!!

I complained twice to CS and they basically just said check your internet connection and don't force quit, blah blah!! This is the type of stuff that makes me not want to play the game. I've spent money here and there on crowns as well and they decided to not compensate on any level. This is unacceptable.

I've lost over 150 medals the last few days magically even when I have PT. How are the devs planning to get our medals back? Are we going to get compensated? Seraphine

I had a good one this morning, when I woke up and found that I had 41 fewer medals that I'd had since the last time I'd played, and battle log showed a net loss of only 9 in that time. I was in the middle of a PT with 5+ hours remaining. So I reported it to CS, which took just long enough so that the game had to reload when I was done typing. Upon reload, I had lost another 5 medals! PT was still active and I had neither attacked nor been attacked in WW during that time.

Compensation? Yeah right. I had another go at requesting compensation - I figured that with others experiencing the same issue, & some getting crowns, Nexon might be more sympathetic. The reply was along the lines of ''this is an issue affecting the whole community - we can't fix the game for any one person''.
Er ... excuse me - I didn't ask you to fix the game, I asked about compensation for the fault.

After a while you just gotta laugh at these computer generated responses!!

yes sometimes u get compensation and sometimes u dont which makes this system of customer service really bad...we understand that a game could have bugs but at least give us the compensation (i.e. crowns) we deserve for the inconvenience and disappointment!! Sadly, my last few experience with cs are really bad that they refused to give compensation and keep sending me BS robotic reply! This game DOES NOT worth paying a single dime for it anymore...

This is the ridiculous answer I ever seen.

Kindly try to perform the following steps and see if this populates your log regarding your issue with medals:

1. Make sure your internet connection is stable, preferably a WiFi Connection.
2. Force close the game and re-login again.(completely terminate the game by opening task manager and closing it from there)
3. If the force close did not work, Restart your device and re-login again.

If the issue still persists, feel free to write back and kindly include the screenshot of your defense and attack logs pertaining to this issue for us to have a check.

I'm in Empire League, losing more than 50 medals without any reason is very annoying. Everyone knows how difficult to earn medals to that level? I've spent much money to this game, but now I'm thinking 100 times to buy crowns anymore. The issue is not being fixed plus without getting compensated, what next?

At least they've fixed the ''if you enter the battle timer then end without deploying troops, you will lose medals'' issue. (Tried it ingame)
