university training times vs rewards

I will keep this short and sweet...university is a great idea however 5 days for a 3% buff...really? And there are endless things to study, ease up on training times there please!!!

Wait until you upgrade a SAM site - 7 or 8 days for a 0.5% buff.

And on the contrary - the University is a naff idea, the lazy designers unimaginative way of 'improving' the game - takes zero skill. Getting Defence/Attack buffs from actually defending/attacking, now that would take some design/programming skill and reward good players.

Training times is not really an issue - the fact that it takes workers from an already worker-poor game - and now we have expeditions coming which will likely require workers as well. All these extra things Nexon are giving us - how about giving us some more workers ??!

Although you have to hand it to them - Nexon gives until it hurts ........................ us .....

If you mean build one from the ground up, hire your faculty, recruit students & see that they all graduate then yes I believe you are right lol…

I totally agree. I still at first level of university and can't finish the upgrades because of the long time and I need my workers somewhere else.
Maybe they should reduce worker requirement better remove it at all. Or have independent schoolers just like original rise of nations.

I think they did university for players who had everything already capped, for shoppers and of course for cheaters!

yes i think it's made for 1.1% of the players.
Why should a player with a lot of buildings to upgrade waste workers on university instead of upgrading those buildings?
Ex: i just passed to GA and i've got at least 1-2 months of important things to do (airstrip,mercenaries,alliance gate, war tattics, mills and markets,oil refinery factory, towers, new buildings and traps+the armory and the troops). to do this i need all workers working 24/7.
No time for university until i finish all this, and then the choice is between upgrading defenses quickly or waste 6 workers for uni..

heres the math on using university over upgrading.....

If you have high level mortars that are not fully upgraded, it takes 4 workers ~6-8 million gold and 10-12 days to upgrade each of them, so for all four that's at least 24 million gold and 40 days (biblical!) for which you get a 10% increase in hit points and damage...

If you instead buy Leonardo and his 3 apprentices some paper, pencils, drafting tables and rent them some space in the university,...you can get a 12% increase in mortar hit points and damage spending 2 million gold in 20 days with 3 workers....

The other university research tracks are not quite so over the top but they are definitely a sound investment....

You are actually right,and i see it in another way now, but you have to admit that using workers for university when there is a lot to do is a shame
