Firstly I agree that the reduced time should be ''overall time less 20%. Then remaining 80% reduced by a further 77%''. However this leaves a total reduced time of 18% - not 26.

FYI, 100 * 0.77 = 23 seconds. If you add 77 plus 33 you get 110! Maybe that's why the French were doing so well with the TB!! The actual benefit is an 18% training time from an original 100%
100 minus 20% = 80. 80 minus a further 77% = 18.4%.

Hang on, you switched away from French after they confirmed it's 97% reduction with TB - cos you felt it was an exploit - or you switched to the French?!!

If you switched away you're one crazy, demented but honourable guy!!

Need the update to be available first before I can feel how much pain it does to my raids. I don't use Raiders or Training Blessing currently, so if the focus in just on these two, then it won't bother me that much.

No, I was regular british playing nice 5-star combats and looting over 700k gold per raid, 5-starring max EA bases. But when my 1m walls were finished and closeapps spread making strong bases poor and cheats made their bases max IA overnight I just felt stupid looting 2-3 times less than french. So after I analyzed why, I came to a conclusion that it was a bug of wrong speed up % calculation on TB and asked devs to redund me 100 usd of crowns for reporting such a vital exploit. (We were fighting with dbuk on the forum at those times lol) they told me 'it works as intented' (I have a screenshot) so I had no choice but to switch. Still could get some, my lvl10 walls are almost finished, but nothing much. A lot of non french players have that.

I can't get enough trade goods. Also, I just login, raid, press retrain and shutdown. The game doesn't want people to play it all the time.
