I'm guessing that's exactly what that means. At some point there was going to be a critical mass of troops and animations on screen. Guess we've reached it. So the insistence on card spam as a game strategy seems even sillier in hindsight.

Poor Romans, worst unique troop in the game and their only power is increased barracks size. Add them to the Need A Boost list along with Japanese and Greeks.

each age needs a new gameplay element. for example, going to medieval was cool because then you got to use generals. going to industrial was cool because you got tanks and airplanes. not seeing anything really new here. we need something drastic, like a new resource that can be gathered (e.g. nuclear energy or something)
