To the extent that evened the footing between paying and non paying alliances, the effects are drying up. 300 rubies is an entire won wars worth - spending that on a single army, when we probably used 8 cards to get the win in the first place. Ludicrous.

I bought like 5 shieldmaiden for 450 crowns in a non-marco offer, Marco is really giving out some odd offers

few weeks ago they sold british archers for 300 rubies. that was ok. i dont know how they could think vandals are worth the same.

100 for infantry, 200 for cav, 300 for shooters, 400 for special troops, 600 for chests, and i wouldnt complain.

I think we've probably all realized the troop chest will likely never come back. It was the best thing possible as you got a lot of bang for the buck (Rubie in this case) with both troop cards and blessings. The blessings were especially nice because people who don't even have temple high enough could use them. They realized people would pay cash so they took it away. Okay so that's gone but for corns sake, at least put a troop that is worth purchasing if you're only going to put a single troop card there that is purchasable by rubies. Who the F*ck wants a Guard Chevaliers? How about some ranged troop cards that other than sepoys? It's utter nonsense to put up cards that hardly anyone would use other than people that don't have a single troop card and that is there only option.

We just decided not to participate in a war where we were slightly overmatched, but knew the other team would max out with paid cards on offense and defense. Can't waste the relatively scarce good troop cards we have saved on battles that aren't winnable. And we are basically all full of rubies anyway and refuse to throw them away buying useless stuff just to make space. So nothing to play for.

300 rubies for a card is ridiculous when you probably need 3 to 4 to take down a big base or when everybody is dropping cards like crazy or to counter SH troops. That means a minimum of 6-8 cards minimum on OFFENSE ignoring the ones you have used up for DEFENSES in SH. 300 rubies is all you get if you WIN A WAR.
This is Nexon logic and a 'modified' bait and switch tactic as before they offered you these cards at a 'low' cost and now it's out of price...
