• Ending Support for AOS6
As highlighted in our 12.10 Update notes, we will be ending support for AOS6 with the release of the 12.11 Update due to technical requirements. Those on AOS6 will need to upgrade to a device that supports AOS7 or above to continue playing DomiNations.

It should say somewhere in Google Play or Apple store. Hell, you can contact Customer service and they'll tell you. But it may not be correct date because when I asked them to confirm date of day I started playing they were wrong by about 6 months.

I don't know mate, sorry. All I went by was when I first purchased something which I didn't do until I started playing multi-player. Yes that's right you had a choice back then, stay single player or agree to do multi-player. Once selected you couldn't go back to just single player. This was the first online game I played so I was rather reluctant to start with however once I did I throughly enjoyed it.

Nov 2016 lvl 233 CW. I haven't played in a looong time. I uninstalled out of frustration and keep checking here occasionally for hope.

Started my main level 260 CWA account in November 2015. Just returned from a 3 month Marvel Strike Force induced sabbatical. While both games are shameless about their overpriced offers and pay-to-win aspects that's where the similarities end. MSF basically requires you to put in 45 minutes to 2 hours a day to keep up with the Joneses and not fall hopelessly behind, this game you can take as long as you want off, reset your traps, and pick up right where you left off. There's a certain relaxing quality to that but it's also the game's Achilles heel. Waaaaaay too much down time in this game once you reach late game. Sure, you can chase wall pieces and generals upgrades seemingly forever but those have some significantly diminishing returns once you achieve a certain level to them.

I pretty much can only be bothered to go to war once every week or two. Between the proliferation of cheats and the fact that there are so many hidden variables that it's difficult to form a strategy in this supposed strategy game I don't see the appeal anymore. Honestly though, it's the endless and tedious scavenger hunt for NTG'S in late game where certain nations are woefully underrepresented that's the biggest impediment.

I also have a 170 global and 138 industrial but defense is so overpowered and troop rebuild times are so long now that I can only be bothered with those accounts maybe a few times a month to put workers on the relatively cheap, if unsatisfying, uni tasks.

Essentially if I hadn't maxed my CWA offense, finished Amelia and Saladin and managed to get good loot boosting artifacts during the early days of the museum before the rebalances I would have probably quit ages ago. Nowadays I basically play this game as an excruciatingly slow and small-scaled version of Sim City ( Sim Neighborhood?) mostly due to inertia. It's fine, even mildly relaxing, to log in once a day, collect resources, donate, chat, do 6 battles for my chests and call it a day. Once a fortnight I may do a training blessing if I need some big expensive oil thing. Frankly though if I get 25,000+ oil a day from my wells and build times take 15 days there's usually little reason to do even that.

I have two medieval and an iron account as well, but the game is so unfun and the deck stacked so far against new players/accounts that I haven't touched those since New Years. It's bad enough that it would take years of tedious grinding to make them viable, but the odds of them every getting remotely useful loot artifacts in the museum pretty much killed my desire to even touch those again.

Tl; dr: The game is more habit than pastime to me these days. I've gone from hours a day rotating 6 accounts to maybe 2 hours a week, and that's only because I was near the top before all of the poor choices the devs have made in the last year. I couldn't imagine trying to start from scratch today. This game is remarkably resilient, but it's pretty much on auto-pilot at this point. I suppose that's good enough for BHG since 90% of the updates just seem to make things harder for newbies.

The description of your feelings about lower level accounts and war almost exactly matches my experience. Except that my highest level account got banned, so I just stopped entirely instead of mostly. Low level accounts aren't fun any more at all, and the idea of doing the museum grind across multiple different accounts is excruciating.

And the NTG grind... If I hadn't been using the matrix to get free coalitions, I would have given up on war and quit the game ages before that ban. It is not fun at all.

Yeah, it's basically a slow sandbox that I can play in while I'm waiting to do something else. There are people I've ''known'' for years now in-game that I like to shoot the breeze with. It hasn't been something I make time for in a long time, unlikely to ever be again. Not really a good or bad thing, from my perspective at least, it's just how it is.

From a developer standpoint that would seem to be alarming as I doubt my tale is a unique one, but it clearly isn't. This game has gotten so far up it's own ass that it's its own human centipede. Yeah, adding a degree of complexity and rewarding long timers and big spenders is laudable but not to the point the deck is completely stacked against newer casual players. This is a mobile game, not Eve Online.

One last thing, they had a great idea with speedups, but they Nexon'd the hell out of them pretty much right away. Since they absolutely refuse to make the earler ages shorter they need to increase the supply of speedups dramatically. Get rid of the useless 5 minute ones unless they want to let us use those for troop training. Start at one hour minimum, and increase to one week. Have events for them bi-weekly. Or better yet, let us buy the damn things directly with the gold/food that sits around perpetually full while waiting for workers. Y'know? Give an incentive to daily playing.

Also, restructure how NTG's are earned. It never ceases to amaze me how the bonus ntg from uni is something i'm full of 95% of the time, even when I only have 3 of the 8 maxed out. Also, why does it take a worker to open shipments? I would actually buy the things from Marco, despite their incredible propensity to never give what I need, if it weren't for that nonsense.

All good. Contemplating whether I should buy 2 Lavish Chests for 1800 crowns each. You get A LOT of troops for your money. Great value.

And on a topic of alliances, as you recall I asked which alliance you belong to and your answer was Simpaticoni, that name sounded familiar. Turns out we had a War with you guys about 7-8 months ago.
