I know many alliances abhor sandbagging and refuse to play that way even if makes things easier. I respect that. It would be nice if the devs would implement some of the many simple solutions posted in the forums that would help deal with these sad sandbaggers. But in the meantime it does feel good when you play fair and still crush that team of 15 lvl 200 atomics and 5 single digit Iron Agers that haven't been online in 100 days.
