Had this idea because I love to upgrade my walls when I have long upgrads going. It is a bit tedious to have to keep a worker but sometimes I get left with 1 and use him to upgrade walls.

However, since the walls take 0 seconds to upgrade, I feel like it would be nice to just remove the need of the worker all together and just be able to upgrade the wall without the worker.

Benefits of this would be that players have something to do while their long upgrades are in progress. Obviously it doesn’t make the most sense but there’s a few things in this game that don’t require workers like Library and Armory research but it would be great if upgrading walls became one of those things.

We are lack of workers but I dont think wall required no worker is good Idea,
Instead, it will be an excuse for Nexon not to add new houses

I can't believe I say it  but keep it the way it is ;)
There would be no resources to raid bcs every excessive food/gold would be dumped on walls. And walls would be much stronger in every base.

But I'd like to see bigger storages! From GA u can hold food/gold for just one upgrade - either wall or building. Each single upgrade cost around 6-7mil food/gold and the same with wall - 6,300,000 per wall. And u can hold max 9 mil food/gold in your storages which means once they are full u can do only 1 upgrade (most players will choose building over walls) because what's left is not enough for anything else :(

So you would like to remove one of the strategy components from a strategy game? Doesn't really make sense.

The overall effect of having storage be larger would probably be that people didn't upgrade mills and markets as quickly. I know I only have mine up to the level where I need them for the upgrades I want to do. As soon as I had enough storage, those workers moved on.

Add more houses instead. Upgrading times are already among the longest in the game genre, and it will just get worse with new ages.

There’s nothing strategic about. To me it just doesn’t make sense a 0s upgrade requires a worker.

@ Wynne D Fanchon...Strategy is when, where and how you use your resources. Builders are just as much a resources as oil, gold or food. If you use all your oil to upgrade a Factory, then you have to wait until you have enough oil to upgrade something else. In the same manner if you use all your Builders to upgrade a Factory then you have to wait to upgrade something else. How you use your Builders is very Stratgic.

Walls essentially do not require workers with a 0 second upgrade. When I was pushing my walls to marshmallows I always had 1 worker free (i have 19 total) so it was always an oddball.

If I was not going to be seriously raiding or moving loot to other upgrades Id put that worker to use on traps.

While I agree, I still believe late game players should have something to do. I know this will ever happen but I was just more curious as to what other players thought of it.

I regularly take a break from playing for a few days until workers are back when I'm full on any one resource (usually gold).

I don't agree. I see plenty of bases with maxed storages. It all depends how much time do u have to play the game. Bigger storages for all resources and trade goods would be much appreciated, especially bigger storehouse for ntgs - 26 units in GA is too little :(

In some other games u actually need to upgrade some key buildings, ie. storages, to progress to the next level/age or have enough player exp/lvl. It makes war matchmaking easier because u have all bases closed within their appropriate lvl/age range and not free roaming like here - industrial/global lvl 89-129 r joke ;)

Imho rushing and not upgrading economy buildings and storages hurts us all but that is bad game design flaw :( At least they got lvl requirement for CWA and thanks for that ;)

yeah, we need more houses, like those hackers having 20+ houses so ya can do 10+ upgrades simultaneously :D :D :D

but on a serious note...more workers are needed, especially since they upped all buildings workers requirement (most are 6-8 workers for one building!!!)
