Wouldn't it be better if the game stopped adding new ages already which only increase the time of upgrades to unbearable levels and begin adding new stuff to do? More single player campaigns, 1vs1 real time battles and so on. So in that context anyone has any guess how many more ages they can squeeze in?

New content (aside from new ages and +1/2 levels on buildings/troops) would be awesome. With that said, I'd expect there to be a price tag and going by what other content is priced at, it would be unreasonable. But, anything's possible, right?

As for ages, as long as the game is profitable, I expect ages to keep on coming. I'm pretty sure the next age (Information Age) is already a done deal and being worked on, probably to be rolled out sometime this year.

People like to upgrade/build stuff; Ages add stuff to upgrade/build. Therefore, new Ages will continue as long as the game exists.

The real question is when will they decrease build/upgrade times of previous Ages. They should do this but haven't; so people quit early as they have zero realistic chance of reaching the later stages. It should take a few weeks to be a decent Industrial base today; but takes much longer still, as long as it took when Industrial was the max Age. This is not good.

New ages, combined with events that allow you to instantly jump up an age, means that people create huge backlogs of upgrades, which, combined with ever increasing building times, means that the pressure on players to spend money is increased.

As I’ve said many times, the best strategy is to stay to whichever age you are and don’t move for a few years. Easy to say, very very hard to do.

BHG could go the route of movie industry, and do prequel ages. How cool would dinosaurs & mastodons be? Bombers as pteranodons dropping coconuts? Or take us out of this green forest and to the far-flung moon (with hover cars of course!). This is the way to go more than modern times :)

Lunar landscape is good )). But it is better to spend time devs on eliminating 1001 errors and omissions that they have made throughout the 5-year path of this game. Judging by the capabilities of this development team, it would now be optimal to be somewhere in GA (no higher!) but without bugs, cheaters, with a normal balance, verified troops, and without a lot of nonsense and simplifications..

The thread’s title brought out my creativity, but yes I definitely agree that we players are basically beta testers for a concept game in perpetual sprint rollouts. And with rotating/exiting staff, the code is bug heaven. It is almost as if there’s only motivation to keep just the game idea going, taking for granted that players may purchase enough advantages to aid them out of tough/buggy situations. I wish the devs played the game at length, not just battle but manage a base & time & resources... then they would know.
