Workers do not return from university

Hello, two of my guild mates have the problem that their workers do not reappear after their university research is done. One is Steve the Shirt (sorry, cant spell the other). Both got no answer from CS yet and are waiting now to get a helpful answer.
Both rebooted their device numerous times. This seems to be a bug you have to look into. Our guild is Scots Guards.
Edit: A third one has the same problem, Scottydog.
Edit: A forth one tested to complete the uni research with crowns, that worked. Unfortunately this is no solution for the three still waiting for their workers to be free again.

You mean nexon uses extra workers for the uni research - and now is holding them hostage?? I wonder if it will cost us money to get them back! (oops - sorry nexon, don't ban me!!)

My guild mates are a lazy crowd it seems, they no longer complain and also say no word to me if the issue is solved. So I assume it is solved now. Thx Nb4Powerup for trying to help.
