Well there seems to be an issue here, I see the Honeybadgers (2 members) are back in the top 10 Tinman.

we need to criticially note that the leaderboard drama is so obvious that it should have been addressed in beta.

we all saw this when we first looked at the game;
everyone (excepting unmentionably few) would ignore it, even it weren't corrupted.

so, it's time to give them a pass.
they are dealing with a history of compromises, a terrible place to work from unless you are the master of refactoring.

it's my hope that a small easy victory fixing leaderboard will inspire them to make it interesting to look at in the future.
that it makes such drama is unnecessarily hard on them. there are better places to focus our criticism.

Well, I never cared who sat on top 10 anyway, I'm pretty sure they're a bunch of boring nerd people and/or freak game addicts! My game life wouldn't bother. But it would be nice to have a cleaner leaderboard.
I'm only curious about the decay system, not that it would affect my allies ; just purely curious

TinSoldier Are there any dates on when the new match making system will be in place? People are opting out of war at my alliance. Last 5 wars where being matched 3 times against the same opponent. 5 CWA 2 GLA vs 1GLA and 3 Industrial age. Kind of takes the fun out of it, if you know before the war has even started you lost and you don't stand a chance. People just stop caring and trying.

It has really motivated a lot of players and teams on the leaderboard. Thank you for listening.

Though there are still 4 teams (!!!) in front of us in top 10 who are trying to hold on to their glory and only play 1 "iron war" every 2 weeks for 1 glory. Honestly I dont like to point fingers - especially because I really have great respect for teams like Samurai and Honey Badgers. They always play fair.

I hope you do something about #2 Samurai 5150, #3 LittleIzzumiRic (Samurai's second inactive team), #6 FaTaLiTy and #8 Honey Badgers.

All 4 teams are not real teams and are still just occupying space in top 10.

These guys are basically cheating the new decay system. They coordinate with another fake team mad up of just sandbags, and then do just one attack. That’s it. End of war. They will then do it again within the next 15 days. It’s a scam just to stay in the Leaders Board.

TinSoldier in another thread it was mentioned that the World War Decay is a script that is "run" by the admins. Can you confirm if the script automated or manual?

On another note, there should be additional checks for glory decay as the listed ones are fairly easy to circumvent (such as stacking an alliance with Iron Age bases and doing wars with them for 1 glory.)

Hopefully the change to glory based matchmaking will screw this up to some extent. If you are taking a chance at matching a non iron age team and getting crushed, that would end this very fast.
