You nerfed the wrong unit

The HC were fine and worked well as part of a mix of troops (other than the AI issues - but we all know about how bad that is). The real unit that is unbalanced is the raider. They're ridiculous. Way too fast, too much health and they have ranged attacks and do crazy damage against resource buildings considering their health and speed. Do you actually play the game, developers? Someone with a few wall breakers and 40+ raiders will steal everything you've got no matter how much you spread things and compartmentalise. Your defence units will never catch them. Your catapults will fire where they've been, not where they are. It takes several hits from an archer tower to kill just one but it'll never happen because they move too fast so the tower never targets the same one twice. Their health is too high, so the redoubt barely puts a dent in them in the time it takes the raiders to destroy a couple of resource buildings. Etc. etc. While I'm at it, don't you think the wall breakers should have lower health so that the player has to use some strategy in how they're deployed? Seriously, they're carrying dynamite and bombs. How damage resistant could they be? Right now they can walk up to a wall unaided and just take it out. Fix the AI... Restore the HC... Rebalance the raiders and wall breakers... Make alliances useful and the game more engaging with alliance wars... Purge the cheats... Anyone else like to add to the wish list?

Raiders are fine, don't you give the devs any ideas to nerf them too. I am against the nerf of the calvary as well, so the solution is to restore their DPS, not nerfing other units. Leave the raiders alone, that's the only fun thing attacking for this game left for me. If they nerf the raiders, it's pretty much the end of raiding.

I hesitate to say the raiders even need tweaking for fear of what the devs will do. I could just see raiders now, running around placing flowers in gun barrels at break neck speeds.

There's been enough nerfing, don't you think? Maybe it should be a mechanics change instead. Perhaps the better solution would be that defenses deal damage to raiders if they fall inside their area of effect or something like this no matter where they are after the shot is fired. I'm not even certain it ISNT this way now, though I don't use raiders so I don't know.

In any event, when I look at my news, raiders don't exactly cause me any consternation. The most successful approaches still seem to be mixed raiding groups.

Just hold up.. I'm all for balance between the units but we should reward player activity/raiding; not nerf it to the point of being less enjoyable/more frustrating! I don't even use the raiders but I get attacked by them often. I see no reason to nerf them at this point. They are a smash/grab type unit and that's what they do. Additionally, defense designs will develop even further as this strat gains popularity so throwing out the nerf flag is a very knee jerk reaction from the nerfing of Heavy Calvary.

Reward activity or the game will fade away to nothing!

Okay you know what, please just stop nerfing the units and actually fix your AI. I have had too many times where i could have completely destroyed bases but somehow my supply cart or HCs just standing there and do nothing or in many cases my units hitting a wall while theres another hole 2 walls next to it. PLEASE JUST FIX THE AI before nerfing anything more

Devs don't know how to use nerf. No matter what unit they nerf, the game will become more broken and less enjoyable. It's impossible to fix competitive gameplay and monetization with dull moves like the recent balance update. Untill they understand it, nothing will change. Players may only show them shorter sessions and less purchases, so it becomes more obvious. If you keep on doing what you do, they'll be thinking they did everything right.
