While I find some of your points interesting you cannot escape the reality of fighting and winning. Doesn't matter if the opponent fields sandbags or carpet-baggers, if you don't fight properly you won't succeed. The system is rigged to winning or losing, irrespective of all your comments. It really isn't different for the top teams and players - as it was before Glory came along. Many of the teams are back in the top 100 irrespective of medals or glory - and that points to issues like command, control, communication, and power.
However, teams that spout 'its only a game and playing for fun' who then press Nexon to change the system because it doesn't suit them are pretty hypocritical. It's interesting that the players who have criticised my comments have not challenged me on fighting methods, team tactics, and generalship. There is this view that at the top all the guys do is shatter lessor alliances, which is simply fanciful. There is huge respect between excellent fighters, unfortunately that cannot percolate downwards, and that's where the system falters unlike in normal games.
Teams with strong academies that spend hours working on methods have been doing that for 2 years. The only way to catch up is to go through much of the same pain - there is no real cross-fertilisation of ideas or techniques. And frankly, why should there be if teams have invested heavily. I actually sympathise with players coming up behind because they face new advances by Nexon, those teams invested in the system, and the constant advances in tactics. All the debates about sandbagging however will not soothe your frustration with the game.
