UPDATE: Thank you for your patience while we continue to work on resolving the issue of your village's progress reverting. Currently we are restoring bases to a more current state. Within the next 12 hours, you should receive a message in your inbox stating that we have resolved your issue, as well as compensation for your situation. If you do not receive a message after 12 hours, are still having issues, or this message is not relevant to your issue, please resubmit a ticket.

LATEST - 21:45 UTC Update

The restoration scripts passed testing and are rolling out to players now. We will be messaging those affected and fixed players through the in-game inbox shortly.

We're performing tests on the restoration scripts. If the scripts pass testing, we will be rolling out the fix to restore those affected players.

18:00 UTC Update

We identified each of the affected accounts and discovered that less than 5% of players have been impacted by today's rollback. Most players are unaffected. For impacted players, they could see lost progress. We are working on a solution to restore those players to our most recent backup available. Further details below.

Around 10:00 UTC we had a single server encounter a hardware issue and fail. We began our standard progress of promoting that server's backup. Unfortunately that backup server also failed. When the backup server came online around 10:25 UTC, players on that server started reporting lost progress. Fortunately, we save and backup individual player data in a separate system that we are utilizing to restore these impacted players. Since these individual backups were not intended to mass restore accounts, we are developing a solution that will automate the restoration and hope to deploy this fix as soon as it is ready.

Server hardware and backup failures are at the root cause of the rollback. We are currently working on a solution to restore users' progress.

So, in the meantime, do I start re-updating stuff or not .
if Nexon can reinstall, what happens to "new" updates to stuff that has at the moment lost those updates ?
if they cannot reinstate my base to where it should be , I'm sitting here with a base that's not as well defended as it should be , and can't attack as it should , so stand to lose even more loot and money .....
How long will this last, and how much more will we lose in the meantime ...
One thing is for sure , the 300 crowns that Nexon usually compensate with isn't going to cover anything near even touching the trouble this has caused .

Good luck Nexon. This is where many users are going to decide to keep playing if you can fix it appropriately, or drop this game if you don't. You stiffed me before with your standard 300 crowns so I'm ready to bounce.

I won a multiplayer battle some minutes ago, few of my troops survived the battle and i didn't get the loot (money and food), nor my troops returned back to base.

That has nothing to do with this topic. People lost 1 month of progress and waiting for good news on here.

I lost about 25 days of upgrades here due to this bug. Most of my library chapter 5 were finished have rolled back as none. I already got Triplane Mk3, Zepplin Mk2, General Napolean 1 level higher, 1 tank depot, next tank depot going to finish within a day, third was upgrading, more than 10 level 10 walls, 4 level 11 walls, 1 level 11 gate, a level 9 tower, an anti tank gun, embassy upgrade, trench mortar upgrade, ambush trap level 5 and two level 4 ambush traps, 6 cavalry and elephant mercenary in the mercenary camp, lost full nation trade goods and other trade goods too along with 3 coalitions, more than 16000 oil and many more in the list...... Crashing on the battle was manageable but this roll back if not reinstated then i will certainly delete this game forever...
Nexon your 300 crowns won't help this time if you are willing to compensate because all those upgrades need more than 10,000 crowns to buy the time of that upgrade and the resources required need additional crowns too..
I have left the game now just waiting for the fix because i am in dilemma that what to do and what not to do.
i also want to know that how Nexon is going to compensate the players for keeping them idle during the fix of this issue.....
Hoping some favorable outcomes for the players or else Nexon should be ready to lose many Domination players.....

My Yoda account is one of the 5% affected by this rollback. While I find it frustrating, I understand that from time to time computers/servers act up. In my opinion, what is really important is how a company addresses the issue. Thus far I'm really impressed how Nexon is keeping us informed by telling us what went wrong and what is being done to fix it. Keep it up.

Apparently I am a 5%er as well.... Happy for the communication, but very unhappy that it happened. I can only imagine how this will shake out. Meanwhile i guess we just tread water?

Thank you for the hard work. Village has been restored and the 1000 crowns doesn't hurt!
