Does wonder bonus effects lose if you destroy it?

Example:

Acropolis : makes your defending army tougher and speed up troops spawning at nearby garrisons and stables.
If I destroy the Acropolis does the bonus above loses? If so how did you confirm that it is or isn't working.

Thank you.

As far as I'm aware, Wonders cannot be destroyed.

In that case then, Wonders should not be able to be destroyed in my opinion. I could see them being damaged from a sufficient attack and then, comparably to the Alliance Gate, needing to be repaired at a cost of a percentage of the initial build: say, 10-25% depending upon the severity of the attack.

That said, as applied to now and your question: if a Wonder is destroyed, than yes its effects should be lost. Depending upon the effects provided by the Wonder, the corresponding User Interface(s) should have that bonus/those bonuses expressly itemized.

What you just said now sound's like a suggestion rather an answer. I'm actually inquiring here not suggesting (that why I posted it here at General Discussion). I just what to verify its effects on garrison and stables from destruction of wonders (Acropolis). The question is answerable by Yes or No.

I am providing a suggestion in an attempt to point out that there is, in fact, no clear answer to your inquiring of confirming or not. It's a question that should be clear for a player to gleam and my position is that presently it is not.

A bit of an old thread but, I'm wandering about this exact thing right now. Anyone can shed some light on this?

Once the Angkor wat is destroyed it stops working. And the coliseum stops spawning when it's down. I assume the rest are the same.

I have Hanging Gardens and it has been destroyed few times before but working perfectly, no loss of bonus power.

I confirmed wonder doesn't go away. I timed my garrison speed at 22s twice after the acropolis was destroyed.

Old thread. Have a few trivial questions and confirmations though.
1. Why Wonders stop working after being destroyed, except Versailles (and possibly Acropolis)?
2. Why Notre Dame can't be attacked? What makes it special? 🤔
3. Why some Wonders provide funny benefits, and not related to their real buildings? Example Kremlin and Sydney Opera House 😂
Any conspiracy theorist here? 😄

Think about wonders as active and passive. Passive wonders still keep their effects after being destroyed active wonders effects are lost once destroyed
passive wonders are acropolis versailles notre dame since it can not be attacked, kremlin. I believe that is all that would matter

If acropolis stops working when destroyed in combat, then damaged units’ health bars should suddenly change to reflect a lower health cap. I haven’t seen any such behavior.

Ah yes Sirs, I think I'm barely enlightened.
Just have to be sure about Acropolis. Wish someone could compare the timing, before and after being destroyed.
How about question #2 and 3? 😄
