Best nation?

Going to be entering GPA, wondering which nation to switch to. The two I’ve seen most often are Germans and Romans. My GPA army usually consists of 29 shooters, 3 healers, and 5 cannons, but more space would give me room for a larger army, and the boost from Germans would help me tactically use it since I can rally more often and control the military more closely. Should I consider another nation as well?

My wonders are Acropolis and Colosseum, most likely Versailles in GPA.

the rebalance buffed germans certainly, and possibly romans too (depending on how well you use the extra 15 spaces)...

germans have the drawback of having to remember 'fury' state;
if you are a rare non-poisoned pure-strained-human with a functioning attention span, germans are a good option. i enjoyed it.

perhaps the most buffed nation is chinese ... the opportunity cost of the extra worker was reduced along with the rising difficulty.
i'm considering a switch from french->chinese.

I decided to go Germans, because the offensive boost helps a lot, and more rally control is a godsend given the terrible AI we have to work with in this game. I didn’t really want to switch to an economic boost seeing as I’m far behind in progression than most players on the forum already, and the rebalance has basically screwed me over with regards to attacking equal bases until I get factory troops. That will take so long that I don’t even believe the game will be active by then. Wishful thinking.

I noticed that just one shot from a Classical tower can one-shot my medieval archers. I have no idea which genius at Nexon came up with that, but it’s a little annoying given that I only have 24 to begin with. Seems like the update will be a lot of fun...
