Nice post @MrMcquail it's great to see earlier age players helping each other out. I play Brit on my lower level alt account... I have never thought of this nation as a looting nation but a spam the base with shooters and 4-5 star it nation. I like your tip about walling in your command post. As my regular account is French I never thought of doing that for my mini me. Thanks.

If I may I'd like to add a tip on 5 starring for Brits... with Brittish archers you want a slow steady eating away on the base. Rally is NOT your friend. You want your guys spread out... If they stray too far and you absolutely need to regroup rally on the fringe far away from active mortars, tc art/howies and such and far enough that they have time to spread out again before coming into contact with critical defense. Too many times I've seen inexperienced Brit players (or players just changing to Brit) rally on the tc and get slaughtered by one or two mortar hits or sprays of redoubt fire. Actually no one should ever rally on the tc building itself. For those non Brit nations, rally on an empty spot near the tc for QV after defensive buildings within range are taken out or sabbed. This way they are free to kill defenders instead of solely concentrating on taking down the tc and getting killed by defenders while doing it. Brit nation should choose a deployment spot with the shortest route with the lowest hp buildings to cut through to get to the tc if they want a QV. If your path includes vault, storage or fort/castle you will be eating up time as you eat up buildings. Since you can easily take out a redoubt from distance don't be afraid to have them in your path to tc a lot of players upgrade them last so most in lower ages are lv1 and can quickly be destroyed. If you have the mindset of getting 100% on a base the loot will be automatic and you also get the league bonus and medals in addition to all the perks you mention. Just my 2 cents. Another thing to remember with the brits - and any nation really - don't forget your magnets or meat shields, the cavalry. New players might want to spam the riflemen from the start but if you're planning on adding to this thread with advice on later ages l would suggest including heavy cavalry or tanks as a compliment to the army.
They're great at distracting heavy fire from your flesh & bone troops and, while a good player can easily 5star by spamming archers, it's always good, imho, to have something extra up your sleeve just in case.

To replace a tank in global costs 7400 food & 5mins - to replace a lvl4 sabotage costs 19000 & 45mins .....

That's most likely because the archer's range puts it outside the tower's activation radius?

Brits range is the same as the Koreans. Im Korean & one reason I dont use raiders much, just a couple low cost Riflemen plinking out farms out of shot from a nearby Tower heehee

Hi there. I think as far as any nations is concerned, the " Requires active players to receive full nation benefits." should be removed. Only the japanese really have a 'perk' which is useless (increased peace treaties)
