Click others' buildings for level when visiting

Love this game, and really enjoy visiting others' bases. There are so many differences between the nations. It would be nice to be able to click others' buildings to see level. Would be nice to see your mates' army lineups, spells when clicking the barracks as well.

We can actually see others army line-ups right on the barracks. But unfortunately it's not real-time. Especially when scouting enemy's bases during planning day, of course the line-ups will change at anytime especially at war day lol. But it helps a lot, we can see what troops that our friends or foes regularly use, either for pvp or war.
It will be better if they make it real-time for everyone (except on war bases during planning day, I think it wouldn't be able to change, because changing war bases/army shouldn't affect the visual of war bases during planning day).
However, this viewing buildings level idea is absolutely great. Really need to be submitted to the developer for next advancements.

It's amazing that, on a public forum, l have people tell me whats wrong with my opinion.
This is life. If a few barbs are too sharp, people should go elsewhere. I don't pull punches and always speak my mind. I think there's something fundamentally wrong with society if we need to protect people from honesty. But thats me.
It's nice to know I'm occupying headspace, rent-free, on this forum.

Manifesto , are you seriously confident about your base design...or it is one of those poorly designed bases which always gets 5 started !!!! why you want to hide your buffs so much ? Is there something that should not be ? Everyone except you is welcoming this idea . Something fishy .

Manifesto I'm with No Angel on this....misunderstanding I'll try not to take your japes so personally Talking to you guys for the last couple of days, would be nice to view your high level bases...sounds like you are veterans of the game.

imo clicking on the museum should allow you to view their 'displayed' items; semantically and strategically it makes sense and would enrich the game.

@Bahia, nothing fishy, I'm just a regular player with regular ideas. My CW base hasn't been 5 starred since, l can't remember. My global Greeks are often 5 starred by HT armies or regular CW armies. Nothing unusual.
Maybe you should have a vote to see if ''everyone'' adds up to more than 5 or 6 people.

if its just building levels, eventually you will kinda just look at the art and know what level they are. or at least a level range of plus/minus 1

example, for a mortar,
if it looks like a catapult, lvl1-3
if it looks like a mortar, 4-5
if it looks like a zoomed camera, 6-7
if there is some yellow paint on it, 8-9

and if you really look at them you will be able to tell apart between a lvl4 and a 5, or between a 6 and a 7 etc


and for mates’ army comps, have them attack you in a friendly challange, or watch their WW attacks

Both you and pckrn don't see the point. It's broader than knowing the differences. You guys talked as people who have passed the levels ages ago. But how about those who have just started playing?

Nah Panthera, I'm new to the game also, technically
Started in 2015 when this game was launched, quitted after a couple of months after reaching GP cause it got boring, just continued playing last year
So it's like starting from the bottom.

no angel but i knew these differences when i was just starting out as well, because i too, enjoyed looking at ally towns and top players towns. (i still do, except now, instead of advanced towns i enjoy looking at nice and pretty pre-industrial towns)

granted, back then there werent the last couple levels with their yellow paint of death so a little less to memorize i guess, but it really didnt take long before i could tell catapult=not scary, zoomed camera=scary

Yeah pckrn same here, I enjoy visiting other players bases as well, but I'm pretty sure you didn't know yet the level of green ballista tower (or that it changed name to anti-tank gun) when you visited top players bases, when you started playing/at early stages?
It's just a simple thing that will make the graphic looks smarter too, the building stats, artifacts displayed (as suggested by Shukra, and probably real-time army lineups.
