Dominations without magical powers and temples

i started playing Dominations because this is the only game in android without magical powers and super heroes and spells, but when i see a temple to receive blessings it turns me off. looks like another fantasy RPG game feature

me too, i hate Clash of clans with full of stupid magic from the sky, suddenly boom boom your base. Not real, so stupid.
Then i turn to DomiNations. I think it so reality, so attactive. You have to fight with your real army, not the magic!
Temple blessing in my oppinio is ok until now. In history, some nation, their people often do that thing for blessing from sky, for rain, for food, for healthy....
you will be ok ?

I view the cart as a medic cart for troops, not a magician. It would be better that way. The blessings should be more like instead of loot blessings and armour blessings, they should be "raiding techniques" or "informant reports" that deliver better results.

As long as Nexon does not release some kind of blessing that provides a super devious general, then blessing is fine. I think the reason we choose Dominations is because of its reality, but it doesn't mean that all detail must be 100% accurate. I mean, ancient countries worship gods to protect them/ give them food, so the developer must do something to visualize these blessings, and so far it is fine for me.

Away with "blessings" I say!

In with some more to read in the Library like SBJ says - Raiding Techniques etc...

The balance between the library and the factory is way off so why not add more there instead of havin "CoC-abilitys" like Blessings!

Why not add that you also can hire defensive Mercenaries in the Camp that spawns from there? It could be a nice thing to see where everybody choose to put it on their bases ;)

Huh? Domi has the exact same magic from the sky, hasn't it? Just different names. Eg. sabotage tactic = freeze spell.
General = Hero
Food = Elixir
Air plane = Dragon

OP makes a good point. Aside from some of the basic game parameters (troop number, relative speed, block size, etc.) there is nothing revolutionary about this game's design. In concept it is really just a re-skinning of other mobile RTS and given the multiple issues with the core engine one might wonder why not simply license and reimplement the game on another more secure and reliable engine?

I think Blessings are okay. We do know human made such things in the past, even now. As long as the effects are passives and not something like "meteor raining on enemy base dealing x dmg", it's still make sense. Also in sense, the functions from several features of the game is the same like CoC, but just better presented to us (as in, more realistic). So far nothing is magic-like in the game and I'm happy about it :)

Altho, the more we get closer to Space Age, I do think blessings start to feel out-of-place in that kind of age xD Should be replaced with something like temporary sub-tech, like Spy SAT-link to be able to see hidden traps or Cloning to gain more loots after battle, and other things like that. (with different graphic for each 'blessings' of course)
