Food or Gold?

Based on your experience/play style, which one is easier to accumulate - food or gold?

Also, is it possible to keep 2M of food and gold for 2 days at Medieval Age? Will resources generated by farms, caravans and roads be enough to cover back the losses from being raided?

It s easy to have 2 m of each in 2 days , i'm medieval age too and if you have a good ressources protection and upgrade farms and caravans you don't lose a lot

food is every so slightly harder to build up it seems like most bases i run into have a bit more gold than food stored. if i start at 0 in an hour i might habe 600k gold and 500k food. but gold is used on walls which is by far the most expensive thing in the game
