Hope you didn't change to German. I went searching through atleast 20 bases before I found a German base, heck I encountered every other nation atleast twice or three times over (that includes Greeks) before finding that one German. All I wanted was some salt for my fries... I can only expect they'll be targeted a lot too. Atleast the ones that aren't Global Age and taking advantage of the mid to late global tech advantage (which I wouldn't expect most people at this point would have unless they invested money into it).

True Bane!!!! after few days of collecting national trade goods. Below is the amount that I collected from more to less. (I also have considered that spent on coalitions)
I do not pick nation to attack, only based on base layout...

Procelain 14 > Scolls! 10 > Marble 10 > Silk 9 > Wood 8> Cheese 7 > Salt 5 > Tea 5

Korean > Greeks > Romans > Japanese > British > French > German > Chinese

Don't know overall. I've gotten 7 coalitions so far. Right now I have:
7 marble, 5 cheese, 5 silk, 4 salt, 4 porcelain, 4 scrolls, 3 tea, 3 timber. I do know that my salt is all I've ever got. And that I raided a city I never would have attacked to get two of them.

German bases tend to be tougher bases because they know about the strategy of the game. Greek players a just bad players that are stubborn and hate themselves too much to change to a nation they will enjoy more

I and several other players in my alliance all began using Greeks, we have all switched to another alliance by IA. I switched to Koreans, primarily because I like using rifles and the bonus fits. One of us has chosen French because he uses the tank attack. Two others chose British for similar reasons to me. The Greeks were great in the early stages but now the advantages of having them are not that great. Finishing an upgrade an hour earlier after waiting 10 days is pretty lame, and 5% refund is equal to about 1 good looting attack. The Companions are stellar though and great to have as an ally. I am struggling to find Greeks to attack without getting nothing in loot
